Terps, Lobos Offer St. John's D-Lineman

Caught up with St. John's Coach Joe Patterson, who reports that defensive lineman Andre Monroe holds scholarship offers from Maryland and New Mexico. Though only 5-11, the 275-pound junior makes up for his lack of height by being agile.

"On the D-line, you can get away with it a little easier," Patterson said, acknowledging that most college programs look for taller linemen. "But he's very quick. He was one of our most productive players last year."
