WVU Offers Another Local DB
Coolidge assistant coach Greg Estes reports that Colts defensive back Avery Williams picked up his first scholarship offer earlier this week, with West Virginia making its pitch to the 5-11, 175-pounder junior.
In his first year as a starter, Williams also played wide receiver and earned all-DCIAA West honors after scoring nine touchdowns, intercepting three passes and blocking a few punts.
