Hoyas Adding a Local Forward

And it's not who you might think. Multiple sources are telling me that Fauquier fourth-team All-Met Jerrelle Benimon will sign with the Hoyas. Wow. Former colleague Matt Stanmyre, a noted Benimon fan, wrote in in late January about how the 6-8 Benimon being largely ignored by college recruiters despite putting together a top-notch season. I hope to have some on-the-record confirmation soon, but now it appears Benimon is bound for the Big East.
