Keeping Recruits Under Wraps

Here's an interesting twist. Most college programs like to publicize their latest recruits, hoping it helps them land other players. Southern Cal, though, apparently wants to keep things as quiet as possible, worried that any announcements just allows other teams more time to poach their verbally committed players.
