All-American Nominees Announced

Granted with the UnderArmour All-American Bowl also getting many of the top players, these things are getting a bit convoluted, but the U.S. Army All-American Bowl has the nominees for its 10th annual game next January in San Antonio.

Local players making the first cut:

Robinson linebacker Brian Laiti, Battlefield quarterback Bo Revell, St. John's Catholic Prep defensive end J.R. Ferguson, Thomas Johnson linebacker Nick Forbes, Friendly linebacker Jordan Haden, H.D. Woodson wide receiver Sherrard Harrington, Linganore offensive tackle Rob Havenstein, H.D. Woodson defensive back Don Hursey, DeMatha offensive lineman Arie Kouandjio, Gwynn Park running back Khalek Shepherd, McDonough wide receiver DeVonte Stamps, Good Counsel cornerback Louis Young and Linganore running back Zach Zwinak.
