Colleague Paul Tenorio reports that Virginia Tech is the 10th school to offer Williams, joining Miami (Fla.), West Virginia, New Mexico State, Southern Methodist, Marshall, Rice and Tulane.

Williams will be selecting West Virginia.

Maryland will finish with a 2-10 record in 2009.
