Scouting Local Quarterbacks
It looks like there are three top quarterback prospects in the Washington area's rising senior class.
H.D. Woodson's Ricardo Young already pledged to Virginia Tech. Battlefield's Bo Revell has yet to receive a scholarship offer but interest is picking up and the 6-6, 230-pounder will have some options.
The third in the group is Arundel second-team All-Met Billy Cosh, who is staying in the Washington area for his senior season even after his dad, Chris Cosh, left Maryland's coaching staff to become the defensive coordinator at Kansas State. Billy Cosh has scholarship offers from Kansas State (go figure), East Carolina and Towson, with plenty of other interest. Chris Cosh reports that Billy is in the process of making up a schedule of camps to attend (including a trip to the Little Apple - Manhattan, Kan.) and will then try to sort things out. Chief among the questions for Billy will be whether he wants to play for his father's new team.
"That's going to have to be a decision for him," Chris Cosh said. "He's lived here before. He knows what's out here. I'm sure it's in the possibilities for him."
