Top Hoopster Heading to the CAA

One of the nation's top basketball players will take the court in the CAA next year. Elena Delle Donne, a 6-5 guard, originally signed with Connecticut before saying she was burned out and enrolling at hometown Delaware and playing volleyball as a freshman. Now, she will join the Blue Hens' basketball team. That will give the CAA a much higher profile next year and it will be interesting to see how it works out as you never hear of elite players at mid-majors.
