Hokies Nab Robinson Linebacker

Robinson linebacker Brian Laiti on Friday morning committed to play for Virginia Tech, Rams Coach Mark Bendorf called to report. Laiti, a 6-foot-3 ½, 210-pound rising senior, picked the Hokies over Maryland, West Virginia, Boston College and Syracuse.

"He had a conversation with Coach [Frank] Beamer this morning and he committed," Bendorf said. "Talking to him, and listening to him this morning, [it was important that Tech] offered him after his sophomore year. He's been down there three or four times. And the defensive coordinator and linebacker coach, Coach [Bud] Foster, also recruited him. It's always nice when your position coach recruits you.

"The success they've had as a program speaks for itself, but their success as a defense was a big factor. The last two years, how they recruited him, came together for him. Coming into his senior year, he wanted to not have it hanging on his head - have a good seas for Robinson, not worry about where he was going to go next year."

Earlier this week, Riverdale Baptist defensive back Brian Burns committed to play for Temple.

I love it !

Maryland goes down to another crushing defeat on recruiting trail.

Maryland football will finish with a 2-10 record.

Maryland basketball will finish with a 15-16 record

No NCAA bid

No NIT bid

I find it odd that you would prodic the season outcome before they get started . Maybe you have infomation we readers don't , Or maybe your just talking trash like most southern roots do before the season . You trash the Maryland program for reasons unkown . But as I read the records for the major sports played at UofM and Uof Nc I see that Uof M has a better record of all major sports that you " root " for . so I ask you now in public why is it that most of you dumascs speal of no turth ? Are you from WV ? Did your daddy anally abuse you . Is your sister your lover and when she drives daddy truck you cry to momma with a nipple in your mouth .Does your Momma play with your little brothers coc& bals . does your sister strap on and pleasure you ?

terryreece:

hclark is just an anti-Maryland retarded troll. He lives in King of Prussia, PA (know b/c he used to post on the Sun, but the site tells you where you post from), and has changed his screen name and team affiliation about 3 times each. Most of us have just learned to accept the fact that he won't go away and ignore his moronic rants.
