DeMatha Forward Picks Indiana
DeMatha forward Victor Oladipo took his first official visit this past weekend to Indiana and liked it so much that he verbally committed to play for the Hoosiers.
Oladipo, a high-flying 6-foot-5 senior, would be the first DeMatha player ever to play for Indiana.
Former Indiana Coach Bob Knight famously was at the Hyattsville private school the morning after the Hoosiers won the 1976 NCAA championship game in Philadelphia, trying to recruit Hawkeye Whitney. But Whitney ended up at North Carolina State.
Stay tuned. There might be more news on another DeMatha hoopster later Wednesday.
