Robinson's Connor Riley committs to Shepherd

Robinson Coach Mark Bendorf reports that Rams senior running back Connor Riley signed a National Letter of Intent to play football at Shepherd University.

Riley, a 5-foot-10, 210-pound senior, was the Virginia AAA Concorde District's offensive player of the year. "He took his official visit the weekend of the last blizzard and officially committed last week," Bendorf said.

Riley rushed for 1351 yards and scored 20 touchdowns this season. He also played linebacker.
