Capital All-Stars, prelim rosters finalized

Organizers of the Capital Classic all-star basketball game on Wednesday announced the local teams for the April 15 event at American University's Bender Arena.

Selected to the Capital All-Stars were: Gonzaga guards Tyler Thornton (signed with Duke) and Cedrick Lindsay (Richmond), Wise guard Daryl Traynham (Massachusetts), Georgetown Prep guard Markel Starks (Georgetown), Ballou guard Donte Thomas, Friendship Collegiate guard Brandon Young (DePaul), Bishop McNamara forward Brandon Coleman (Rutgers football), DeMatha forward Victor Oladipo (Indiana) and Jerian Grant (Notre Dame), Montrose Christian forward Josh Hairston (Duke), Progressive Christian forward Moses Abraham and KIMA forward Jonathan Arledge (George Mason) and center Eugene McCrory (Seton Hall). Louis Wilson of Riverdale Baptist will coach the team.

Selected to the District All-Stars for the preliminary game were: O'Connell forward Marcus Carmon, Riverdale Baptist guard Justin Drummond (Loyola), Good Counsel guards Rodney Glasgow and Ben Hazel (Princeton), Ballou guard Zalmico Harmon, Eastern guard Phil Hawkins, Gonzaga forward Malcolm Lemmons (Robert Morris), Cesar Chavez guard Markee Mazyck, Princeton Day center Eric McKnight, Bullis forward Robert Sampson and St. Mary's Ryken guard Kai Smith. The team will be coached by Dave Tallman of St. Mary's Ryken.

Selected to the Suburban All-Stars for the preliminary game were: Thomas Stone forwards Stephen Battle and Kendal Smith, Potomac (Va.) guard Justin Burrell (Mount St. Mary's), Oxon Hill guard Ray Gatling, Gwynn Park forward Mike Hemsley, Potomac (Md.) forward Antonio Jenifer, Liberty center Tyler Johnson, Mount Vernon forward Skylar Jones (Niagara), W.T. Woodson guard Max Lenox, Richard Montgomery forward Shawn Stephens and T.C. Williams forward Ryan Yates. Tyrone Massenburg of Douglass will coach the team.

Tickets are $15-25.

no one cares about the girls' roster. who are the Capital All-Stars playing against (what is their roster)?
