Eight more locals nominated for U.S. Army game
Eight more Washington-area players have been nominated for the U.S. Army All-American Bowl on Jan. 8 in San Antonio.
From the District: Ballou defensive lineman Lamonte Clark and offensive lineman Jamar Lewter, H.D. Woodson defensive back Adeboye Aromire and St. John's defensive lineman Kevin McReynolds.
From suburban Virginia: T.C. Williams All-Met offensive lineman Jay Whitmire, Annandale All-Met wide receiver Melvin Robinson, South County defensive back Ronny Van Dyke and Osbourn Park quarterback Dominique Terrell.
Three suburban Marylanders previously were nominated: DeMatha offensive lineman Cyrus Kouandjio and defensive back Blake Countess and defensive lineman Vincent Croce of Good Counsel.
