DeMatha lineman picks Virginia
DeMatha offensive lineman Kelby Johnson became the fourth rising senior football player at the Hyattsville school to make his college choice, accepting a scholarship offer to play for Virginia, according to a DeMatha official.
Johnson is the second DeMatha player to commit to Cavaliers' first-year coach Mike London, joining defensive back Jordan Lomax. Virginia assistant coach Shawn Moore's son also plays for DeMatha.
DeMatha running back Delonte Morton has committed to Maryland and tight end Sam Collura has committed to Pittsburgh.
