Blade DT Josh Wade will visit Illinois, New Mexico
Bladensburg defensive tackle Josh Wade is planning official campus visits to Illinois and New Mexico, but does not have a favorite among the nine schools to offer him a scholarship, Mustangs Coach Derek Tyler said.
Wade, who is 6 feet 2 and 255 pounds, also holds offers from Louisville, West Virginia, Ohio, Marshall, Buffalo and Toledo. North Carolina State also has shown considerable interest, Tyler said.
"He's taken a number of unofficial visits," Tyler said. "I think he's going to do a couple official visits during the season, but I don't think any one stands out right now."
Tyler said that junior defense end Silas Ademola (6-4, 245) also is getting plenty of attention from college recruiters.
"He's built like a college player," Tyler said. "Strong. Fast kid with good size."
