Catching up with Quinn Cook
Virginia Tech beat writer Mark Giannotto caught up with Quinn Cook, the All-Met Boys' Basketball Player of the Year last season as a junior at DeMatha, on Thursday night in Roanoke. Cook, who now plays for Oak Hill Academy, took the court for his first game since undergoing knee surgery in early September.
Cook had nine points, four rebounds and two assists in about 25 minutes in Oak Hill's 105-78 loss to Hargrave Military Academy. He said that will make a college decision "some time in the next couple weeks" and that he has narrowed his list of schools down to Duke, Villanova and UCLA.
