Va. Tech offers All-Met kicker Michael Branthover

All-Met kicker MIchael Branthoverof DeMatha, who recently was offered a scholarship by Maryland, has received his a scholarship offer from Virginia Tech, Stags Coach Bill McGregor said.

Branthover, who has kicked six field goals this season, plans to visit Blacksburg in the next few weeks, McGregor said. The fifth-ranked Stags conclude their season Sunday against sixth-ranked Good Counsel in the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference championship game.
