Gonzaga C Ben Dickinson commits to Binghamton
Gonzaga center Ben Dickinson, a 6-foot-9 senior, has committed to play for Binghamton, Eagles Coach Steve Turner said Friday morning.
Dickinson is averaging 4.8 points and five rebounds this season for Gonzaga. He also had a scholarship offer from Loyola and was being recruited by several schools in the Ivy League and Patriot League, Turner said.
"He's a kid who has moved into a starting spot this year after being in a reserve role last year," Turner said. "He had a strong summer and schools took notice of him. He'll give them a kid who is versatile, who can play [power forward] or [center], can play with his back to the basket or facing the basket and guard both positions too."
