South Lakes WR Sean Price Commits to Appalachian State
South Lakes wide receiver Sean Price, an All-Met track star, committed to play football at Appalachian State on Saturday, according to Seahawks Coach Andy Hill.
A standout wideout for South Lakes, Price will join teammate Darius Smith, who gave his verbal commitment to the Mountaineers on Jan. 11.
As a senior, the 6-foot-5, 190-pound Price caught 49 passes for 820 yards and eight touchdowns and also rushed 14 times for 275 yards and four scores.
Price was a first-team All-Met track selection as a junior after winning Bruin Hall of Fame titles in the triple (46-8 ½) and long (21-11 ¾) jumps and Liberty District and Northern Region titles in both as well.
