National Signing Day 2011: South County defensive back Ronny Vandyke signs with Virginia Tech

Ronny Vandyke / South County defensive back / 6-foot-3, 197 pounds / Statistics

One rival coach calls him "freakishly" athletic; can play near line of scrimmage like a linebacker or shut down receivers in coverage. Made 106 tackles, 13 for loss. Intercepted three passes (returning two for touchdowns) and blocked three punts. First team All-Met.
