Commenting on the close games this year:

"It could be that way all year," Coach Jim Zorn said.

Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

I think that we should be able to beat the steelers so long as we can control the clock.

Not looking past the Lions, but given how many times Ben has been sacked, I'd send the house every down, vs. the steelers....

who are the steelers....I only know lions this week!

Having just been stung by a winless team and then struggled with another bottom-third team in the Browns, scoring just 17 and 14 points in those games, I want to see maximum medium this week.

I want to see the offense executing with laser focus. Or something along those lines. Long drives ending in touchdowns. How's about let's get over the 30-point plateau for the first time this season? And let's get Clinton over 120 again and sit him down early in the third quarter, let Shaun Alexander stretch his legs a bit, what say?

Get CP26 to a buck by halftime with a comfy lead give the 3rd quarter to Rock the fourth to Shaun of whichever way. I personally was more scarred of the Rams then the Lions, they actually do suck that bad.

Not down with that article today about our slim profit margin in winning games. It/s true but i think they didnt even mention the amount of close losses that we have seen over the past few years with Gibbs. Before we were losing these 2, 3, 6 point games, now were nealing the clock down with those same margins. Thnik some credit has to go to the coach for that. An ugly win is still a win, more needs to be told about how were muscling out these victories where in the past we were just getting edged out.

4th we are winning and you bring that up. who cares about hurry up offense. hater....

You will care win it matters in trying to win a game.

The Skins are not perfect and JZ has alot to learn!

And to keep you guys grounded, let me tell you this........Plenty of Rookie Coaches have had good 1st seasons with the prior coaches players, but once they try to take control in later years, they go downwards ALOT.

OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD I CAN NAME THESE COACHES WHO HAVE TANKED AFTER THE 1ST OR 2ND YEAR OF DOING A GREAT JOB WITH THE PREVIOUS COACH'S PLAYERS:

*Ralph Freidgen
*Jon Gruden
*The Guy who took Gruden's place in Oakland
*Charlie Weiss
(I had some others but was forced to do some work and they now have left my mind)

And JZ so far is fitting in this categorey.....

That Guy's name was Callahan, 4th, and they picked the wrong one... especially in that metropolitan area, they should have hired Dirty Harry. He would've taken care of things.

I love it when our west coast RI's understand the WCO, as run in the NFC Beast!

I'm also thinking we might see a break-out performance by Devin Thomas. SM runs a deep crossing pattern to draw the safety, and DT long down the sideline! HTTR!

4th not such a big fan of the caps but I'm not so sure why people are attacking people who do anything but heap praise on Zorn or the Redskins. This team is far from perfect.

State your opinions without attacking the person who doesn't share your point of view people. I learned that in 3rd grade. Some of you have 3rd grade grandchildren and haven't learned it yet.

Would love to see one of more of the second round triplets get some this Sunday, frediefritz. Excellent opportunity to work them in.

Take care of business. That's the main thing. TCB, baby, TCB.

Also, * beep beep *

It's true that some coaches succeed with a former coach's players, but certainly not all. Only time will tell. In the meantime, I'm enjoying the ride. I don't mind that they are winning close. That is the typical way in the NFL. But anytime they have a lead, run off 5-8 minutes, then take a knee and win by 3 or 7, that is not "winning close". That is just good football.

Before we start talking about the Steelers lets beat the Lions first, they as i said yesterday are desperate and desperate teams are dangerous they have nothing to lose,Skins need to go into Motown and crush them have JC light their ass up get CP a hundred by halftime and then let him sit and let Shaun get some carries Blache needs to get the pass rush going and what better team then the Lions to do it against.

Who was I attacking?

Me using CAPS = Point of EMPHASIS, that's all. Nothing more nothing less.

Maybe if they had the INTERNET when I was in 3RD GRADE I would know BETTER!

Also, who was I attacking? No one. Just making a point of EMPHASIS....

Get a room. Try the Holiday Inn. They have free breakfast.

Nice Observation.

But those NFL Coaches had seasoned veterans all over. You could say that we have a mix plus we are rebuilding. And the way the running game is, he might be learning something. I think Zorn is going to be a good coach. I hope he doesn't fall in that category 3-4 years from now

is there anything more boring than these J. Reid video posts? IMO, the man has a face and demeanor for print journalism; for some reason, I'd much rather read him than see/hear him.

If CLinton has a buck and two dimes by early third quarter, then I will run naked around my apartment complex. This is a highly desirable (the 120 yds, not streaking) but IMHO fairly unlikely outcome...Detroit's run defense isn't that bad, plus I look for a Zornucopia of passing. Time to get him some gaudy aerial numbers - I'm looking for 35-40 passes - so CP can cut down on the carries. He's on pace for I think 450+ carries, too many.

HAIL!!
