And Then There Was One...

It's the day after Christmas, another day of work for the Redskins, who'll practice today and then head west to San Francisco for their season finale. Jim Zorn spoke yesterday about his philosophy going into the final game. You know which philosophy...the one about whether to play the veterans or the kiddies on Sunday against the Niners. Do you agree that this is no time for experimentation?

Mike Wilbon writes today about Bizarro Season in the NFL. One thing is certain this year: there's a lot of debate (aka jibba jabba). What's the better feel-good story, Atlanta or Miami? Who's the best baby coach: Mike Smith, Tony Sparano, John Harbaugh? Who's the MVP: Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Philip Rivers, Brandon Jacobs, maybe a defensive player like Ed Reed? Who's the best team?

On a serious note, Les Carpenter takes a look at the '94 San Diego Chargers team that went to the Super Bowl. Fourteen years later, five members of the 53-player roster have died in their 20s and 30s.

Let me be the FIRST to reiterate my opinion: if we were having a successful season and we were headed to the playoffs, then we should stick to the plan: go with what works.

However this is not the case.

Since we need to rebuild our offensive line, we should at least find out what part in its future Rinehart might have to play. We already know plenty about Jansen and company.

The Truth is sick and working.

The Truth is not happy.

The Truth will not provide any mock drafts today.

The Truth has been at work for an hour too long, and The Truth arrived at work about an hour ago.

The Truth is still not happy.

The Truth has 364 days to wait before the next airing of grievances.

I think they should have beaten the Rams AND then the Cowplops at home. AFC games do not matter much in the grand scheme of things. Divison and conference come first. If their defense has been healthy for the cowplops they would have won that. But the Rams basically a brain fa-rt.

"Had the 'skins simply took care of the Bengals or Rams and they would be the 6th seed going in this weekend."
