A Quick Look Ahead
At 9, I think Green Bay, switiching to 3-4, takes a good long look at DT B.J. Raji. And if he doesn't go there, then I think Denver pounces at 12.
San Fran at 10 could take Oher. Buffalo could well get Maybin/Brown, as I have heard all day. And you have to think WR Michael Crabtree goes somewhere before 13, right? Could he possibly fall that far? And what about WR Jeremy Macklin? Skins may end up with a wide receiver unexpectedly sitting there.
So, a guy like Orakpo or a tackle could still be there at 13.

At least trade up so I can go outside and enjoy the weather.

So will someone trade up for either Crabtree or Macliin
Posted by: frediefritz | April 25, 2009 5:13 PM | Report abuse
It's a tough call if Crabtree is there at 13.
I'd like to say move down and get picks for the O-line, but our sad-sack receiving corps could use an immediate boost. and I'd love to see what Santana can do when he actually has a legit #2 receiver opposite him.
Not interested in Maclin...

If Crabtree is still there, Vinny will pick him. Vinny always says he picks the best player on the board regardless of need.
Posted by: Lisa_R | April 25, 2009 5:13 PM | Report abuse
I think SF takes Crabtree.
Orakpo might actually be there for us. (And if not him, Michael Oher.) Incredible!
Posted by: drischord | April 25, 2009 5:13 PM | Report abuse
If I were picking, I'd take Erin Andrews, but that's just me

PFT is reporting that the Ravens want to trade up from 26. Trade down with them for the 26 and their 2nd.

i think the Count saw too much Randy in Crabtree..
Posted by: frak | April 25, 2009 5:14 PM | Report abuse
packers take Raji
we better take either a top LB, OL, or DL
nothing else makes sense.
which means the Skins will draft a WR

Just say "no" to O-rak-po.
Posted by: p1funk | April 25, 2009 5:15 PM | Report abuse
Please let Orakpo be there!!!
Who needs an O-lineman. Didn't we just sign a RT who hasn't played in two years?

I say we draft Mel Kiper's hair. That thing is formidable!
Posted by: fitzroysq | April 25, 2009 5:16 PM | Report abuse
I'd give the Redskins an "A" so far!
Posted by: rickyroge | April 25, 2009 5:16 PM | Report abuse
We can't take Crabtree. Injured WRs who don't know the plays is one of the few areas where we have depth

They get hurt all the time. We need three of each on the line. I truly believe if you have a good, solid line your good QB and RBs become great.
It's all about the O line.

What if we pick Knowshon Moreno
Posted by: rickyroge | April 25, 2009 5:23 PM | Report abuse
No reason to think Campbell will be bad, Rachel. He's gotten better every year.
A quality OLineman would be nice.
Oher might be coming our way...

Let's trade down now.

Never thought Maclin,Crabtree, Orakpo, and Oher would all make it to #10 pick. Oher to Buffalo?

Orakpo goes here at #11
Posted by: frediefritz | April 25, 2009 5:25 PM | Report abuse

ifthethunderdontgetya: Well, maybe I should've said "what happens if Campbell struggles this year?" Cause it seems to me some people here are a little bit sensitive. :)

Orakpo to Denver?
Posted by: Yoder-lay-hee-who | April 25, 2009 5:26 PM | Report abuse
Well looks like Maybin to Bills that is a surprise. Denver will take defense.
Posted by: richr75 | April 25, 2009 5:27 PM | Report abuse
Frak is a Cowboys "fan" no doubt. No class.
If we don't have a good, healthy o-line this year - there's a good chance Campbell may suck. No one can be good without a good line.
Gibbs used three different QBs and RBs to win three SBs. But the hogs were ALWAYS there.

Oher or Orakpo available. Shaping up beautifully.

There's been quite a bit of "heated debate", rachel.
And yes, it has led to a sensitivity crisis...

anyway...i think we got a good guy either way...
