Bruce Allen happy to see Albert Haynesworth on practice field

Redskins General Manager Bruce Allen is among many team officials pleased that defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth finally passed his conditioning test Saturday at Redskins Park.

"I think we were confident that he was going to pass the test, and now we get to work," Allen said after practice on Fan Appreciation Day at the complex.

"I think Mike's plan has made sense for the whole team since January. This is just one step in it. We've got a lot of work to do to get better."

Allen also expressed excitement about strong fan turnout in Ashburn. "I love the turnout," Allen said. I really do love it."

"There's something special about the Redskins' fans. It's decades and decades of passionate support. I met a grandfather, a father and grandson today in the back of the end zone over there, and not many franchises in all of sports can do that."

Wow...

You guys just aren't listening.

IS THERE ANYBODY ELSE ON THE TEAM?

Seriously.

Yeah, especially the ones that defend Albert Haynesworth....those fans are truly "special".

Glad he's finally put in his FIRST practice, but let's move on from the AH stuff and get to the rest of the team.

Bruce is right...gotta love Redskin Nation!

I'm out.

...maybe tomorrow they'll snap out of it.

Clearly there's been a mistake. Nobody has asked Dan Snyder what he thinks of Haynesworth passing the conditioning test. While we're at it, call up Colt Brennan and ask him about it. Make sure to reference that Colt is the fan favorite.

The WaPo's tunnel vision re AH is UFB!

Way to hear the cries of the fans who support this site.

Ok, Mr. Allen, now trade him so we won't have to read one more thing about him.

Jesus christ, just think what wapo will do when Haynesworth actually has a good game. We'll get ten new threads an hour about him for a week.

How many players are in camp?

To quote TheCork-

"Do you know where to send your resume".

Now that he passed the test, it would be nice to have a thread or two about the other 78 players.

I predict the next 100 odd posts by RI as follows:

- Jim Hasletts response to AH passing the test and joining his teammates practicing
- Jacob Burney's
- London Fletcher's
- Philip Daniel's
- Each as a seperate entry, the other 75 players in camp responses (there are other players there right?)
- Colt Brennan's
- Doug Dutch's
- Leigh Torrence's
- Marko Mitchell's
- Rock Cartwright's
- John Madden's
- All at NFL Total Access (seperate entry's of course)
- Roger Goodell's
- Jeff Fisher's
- Etc
- Etc
It will end finally, sometime during an NFL lockout in 2011, with a video of Jason Reid and Mike Wise discussing their responses to AH passing the test and practicing with his teammates in the 2010 Redskins camp.

No we won't. You obviously haven't been around here that long. We only get the deluge of posts when the information being disseminated is negative. We won't hear about Albert during the season until a) he has a bad game or b) he is injured or misses a game.
