Redskins list seven as questionable

On their final injury report of the week, the Redskins have listed seven players as questionable for Sunday's game at St. Louis: Albert Haynesworth (ankle), LaRon Landry (wrist), Kareem Moore (knee), Clinton Portis (wrist), Anthony Armstrong (groin), Chris Horton (ankle) and Trent Williams (knee/toe).

Portis, Landry and Moore all practiced this week, and all seven participated in at least part of Friday's practice. Moore, Williams and Armstrong have all said they feel they'll be ready to play Sunday.

As Mike Shanahan mentioned earlier in the day, nose tackle Anthony Bryant suffered a concussion and will not play at the Rams.

St. Louis has listed four players as out: tight end Bill Bajema, linebacker Chris Chamberlain, tight end Mike Hoomanawanui and defensive tackle Darrell Scott. Three others are listed as doubtful: safety Chris Dahl, defensive tackle Clifton Ryan and receiver Laurent Robinson, none of whom practiced Friday.

This is purely rhetorical, but I wonder what people's attitudes and posts will be like is Hayney plays and plays well?

We'll just find something else to complain about. Such as CP and the running game or DT not seeing the field. You know, the usual complaints.

J.Reid posts: Shanahan said Haynesworth won't necessarily be on the active roster Sunday.

"You could go with five or six [linemen] or a combination of different people," Shanahan said. "Jim [Haslett], in his history has gone with five defensive linemen. We've gone with six all through preseason [and] the regular season games. It obviously depends on what our game plan is."

Maybe I am reading Shanahan's quote wrong, but I dont see him saying he will or wont be on the active roster. It seems J. Reid is just putting words in Shanahans mouth here, loosely interpreting it as he sees fit.

I hope Fatsworth plays well to benefit the Skins. Even if he does, it won't change the fact that he is a piece of sh*t and doesn't deserve even half the money he received so far.

Point proven. Play Fat Albert on passing downs...deactivate him if he doesn't give max effort and put this baby to bed. You're either in or you're out.

Double beeps. Bye-bye Brandon Banks. No room for you in the No Fumble League.

What's the point? They won't ever have more than 3 RB's active on gameday. Unless they give Chad Simpson one carry on Sunday and cut him Monday. Which seems to be the standard around Ashburn.
