Best Of Luck, Terry Ray
The Redskins have released pro scout Terry Ray from the organization, sources said. Ray was known as a hard worker and a good guy around the building and someone who was well liked by the coaches (tension between coaching/personnel is natural in the NFL, given the inherently conflicted nature of the two sides of the building).
Ray spent 8 years in the league and three with the Redskins front office. He came here in 2005 after playing in the NFL and CFL - as a safety he appeared in a Super Bowl with New England - and worked on advance scouting of opponents as well as scouting the NFL, CFL and Arena League for talent.
