Chad Rinehart found guilty of public intox

A Black Hawk County magistrate in Waterloo, Iowa, has found Washington Redskins guard Chad Rinehart guilty of public intoxication in connection with a January encounter with University of Northern Iowa police.

The 25-year-old Rinehart, a native of Boone, Iowa, paid $195 in fines and surcharges after Magistrate Patricia Meany issued her written ruling June 3.

University of Northern Iowa police spokesman Dave Zariffs says officers responded to a door alarm at Mojo's Pizza House in Cedar Falls on Jan. 18. When they arrived, they found Rinehart pulling on a locked door.

A police report says Rinehart, who played at Northern Iowa from 2004-07, appeared to be intoxicated. Rinehart refused a breath test and was arrested.

Rinehart made four starts for the Redskins last season before breaking his right leg.

Let me get this straight, if you get intoxicated privately you have a drinking problem, and if you get intoxicated publicly you get a fine...so, I guess now we can only get intoxicated existentially... Excuse me, bloggers, my karma just Ralphed on my yang.

Forbes magazine has recently published the Most 10 Hated Pro Athletes.

Rank these names--non- athletes included-- according to most undesired to completely rotten:

Alex Rodriguez

Mike Vick

Tom Cruise

Albert Haynesworth

JaMarcus Russell

Sammy Sosa

Scott Boras

Manny Ramirez

Jesse James

Terrell Owens

Moe says that Sammy Sosa has to be the most despised as a guy who screws up by taking steriods shouldn't compound his issues by messing up something as beautiful as the skin color God gave him.

See for yourself:

If they arrested everyone in DC trying to crush some jumbo slice after a night out, half the city would have a criminal record.
