Chris Cooley to have knee scoped Monday
Tight end Chris Cooley is scheduled to undergo arthroscopic knee surgery Monday, he said after Sunday's game.
Cooley had five receptions 53 yards in Washington's 17-14 loss to the New York Giants at FedEx Field. He finished the season with 77 catches for 849 yards (a 11.0-yard average) and three touchdowns.
The seven-year veteran finished six catches short of his personal-best total set during the 2008 season. Cooley matched his career-high in yardage, also established during '08.

I'll wager that this was hampering Chris last week. Good luck, Chris.
