Don't Tip The Valet

Pulled up to The Park this morning and, where there is usually just a small, circular grass area in the middle of the parking lot, now there is a rugged 4-by-4. It's some kind of massive Ford that wouldn't be out of place in one of those "Sunday, Sunday, Sunday!!!" monster truck shows.

Planted next to the truck is the sign issued to center Casey Rabach after last year's win over Dallas (he was offensive player of the week, and thus got a special parking space that week under Joe Gibbs's old reward system). Given the Wisconsin tags on the jumbo truck, and the sign next to it, I'm going to go out on a limb and say the truck also belongs to Casey.

Not sure if he was also the one responsible for driving said truck over the curb and up onto the grass, but I appreciate the gesture nonetheless. Something kinda manly about the whole thing. Boys will be boys.

I'll post some updates after practice, which begins at 11. Four more OTAs next week and then summer break til the start of camp July 20.

In a related automotive note, looks like tackle Jason Fabini will not be taking part in OTAs today. He just rushed out of the building and jumped into a cab. Hope everything is okay and there are not any emergencies or anything of that ilk. Will pass along details when I get them.

Did the truck have those balls hanging off the bottom?

I love it when we get this kind of insider information first right here on Redskins Insider.

You know, this is something where it might actually have made sense to put a picture up -- "a picture is worth a thousand words..." -- instead of the talking faces videos.

TE- that would require Snyder not being a dink.

Heard JLaC on Kornheiser's show.

He gave more insider info up there then up here, such as.

He talked to Springs earlier this week. No big deal in JLaC's eyes.......

football doesn't imply a fascination with feet. You homos, however, have a serious fetish for Rabach and each other.

For the record I am anti-panties, and anti-under-where whenever I can be.

There is ton's of homoeroticism in any contact sport. Watch the UFC some time and tell me that isn't. If you can't accept that watching guys in spandex pile up on one another and pat each-other on the butt makes you a little gay, well I feel sorry for you.

Worse thing is, TE hopes so.

Sadly TE, I no longer fit in it. I gained some weight ever since I started dating my girlfriend 2 yeas ago, she spent a year in culinary school so lots of good dinners for me. I will just be wearing a simple Home jersey #13.

Nothing worse then a person not fitting in the spandex jump suit.

Posted by: | June 5, 2008 11:20 AM

In all seriousness I don't, rather I think that some cultures have their virtues wrong, and any time virtues become religiousized they become manipulated for others gains. I personally always like the more Platonic style of virtue, which was Wisdom, Courage, Moderation and Justice.

Jason La Canfora talking about manly monster trucks is like Rosie O'Donnell talking about diet programs. Stick to what you know, whatever that is.... Soccer?
