Doughty has high ankle sprain, Williams a broken toe
With one week to go in a season long since lost, not many injuries could seem to be of significance to the Redskins. But yet they are:
- Safety Reed Doughty suffered a high ankle sprain after returning an interception in the second quarter, and the injury likely means he'll miss the season finale at San Diego. Still, the prognosis is relatively good, because replays showed a violent twisting of the ankle, and coaches initially thought he had a broken bone in his leg.
- Guard Mike Williams fractured a toe, and he'll be out for the San Diego game. Head coach Jim Zorn said he has to decide - after he finds out which members of his offensive line still remain - what to do at Williams's right guard spot. He could go with reserve Will Montgomery, who came in for Williams Sunday night, or shuffle things further.
- Linebacker Rocky McIntosh strained his back. His status for the San Diego game is unkown.
- Quarterback Jason Campbell took somewhere between 10 and one million hits, and somehow stood up at the end of the game. His eye is still blackened from one of those hits he took last Monday night.
