Eagles Lead 14-0 after 1 Quarter
Jason La Canfora can't get on to the net, so he texts:
Not much to say about that performance. One first down by the Skins, on a Portis run. The Eagles didn't blitz as much early as I thought, though it worked well on the first drive.
Philly converted 4 of 5 third downs. On the TD return by DeSean Jackson, Durant Brooks' punt lacked hang time.

nice spot for a long drive. . .
14-10 would be a huge way to end the half. . .

The Skins can put together a long TD drive here and be right back in this game. Lots of football left to play, and I've got faith in this offense. Portis on fire today!

Interesting. It looks like the Redskins started this game trying to hit some quick passes, but the Eagles were focused entirely on blitzing and taking the passing game away, especially Moss.
It looks like Zorn is taking what they'll give them now though, whether that be throwing to Cooley or letting the running game take over.
Take what they'll give you, Zorn. You have enough playmakers on offense that you can beat them with the run or the pass.

Why? Why? Your're moving the ball on the ground. Keep pounding.

If the Skins can get a TD out of this and kill most of the rest of the clock, they'll be in good shape for the second half (they get the ball first).

Who is number 11???

Devin Thomas. Keep running boys, wear that D out!

Griffin returns....You're right. 14-10 would be huge with Skins getting ball in the second half.

TD absolutely helps here. . .
but 14-8 is one score game . . .

Ugh, 14-6 would be okay. Our D is starting to stand up and the O is learning how to move the ball in this game. We get the ball to start the 2nd half.

Suisham! OK. 14-6 is all right (considering the Skins were robbed on that blown call on the punt return).
