Nick's on the market, baby. Released by Arizona a little while ago. Spoke to him on his cell a fwe minutes ago. Would love to come back here, but no word from the Skins yet. Stay tuned.

They need to sign Novak and bring him in for the last preseason game. Unfortunately, Novak can't kick off, either. He may be more consistent with his FGs, though.

Nick's kickoffs needed work, but maybe he's progressed since then. Another year of leg strength and all.
Did some fishing around on P Travis Dorsch as well tonight. He's been informed that he's being cut, but won't be placed on waivers by the Giants until 1 pm Tuesday. So he would clear at 1 pm Wed.
Had a very nice camp and handles kickoffs, too. Sounds like a fit to me. Worth at least a try. He was stuck behind Jeff "Hang Time" Feagles in NY, so can't blame him for getting the ax.

Nick was great when he was here. At least he won't get hurt. We need ya Nick!

I think the problem with Brunell is that Gibbs let Bill Musgrave go as a QB teacher. Thats when MB was looking good. This new guy Lazor is nothing, no experience.
Yours truly,
Bill Musgrave

Jason,
Are you just speculating about Dorsch, or have you heard some rumblings that the Skins' FO is interested in him? I just spent a half hour trolling the Giants' fans message board (an experience I don't wish on any of you...ok, maybe those idiots who criticize JLC's typos) and the Giants fans seem to think the guy's pretty good and would like to keep him around. That might not mean much from the same group of people who think Eli Manning is the second coming, but anyone would be better than Frost at this point.
Thanks for doing this man! Your blog gets me through the workday.

Maybe we're about to sign Rod Tidwell.

Just yesterday I was thinking to myself, hey, that UMD kid did alright early last season, wonder what he's up to . . . I'd love to see him make it in the league locally.

Nick Novak was such an awesome dude. Everyone liked him. I think everyone forgets he made the tackle on Tyson Thompson on that legendary monday night game vs. Dallas. Without that tackle, never woulda ended the way it did.
I would LOVE to see him back here. Class act.
Thanks again for doing the blog, Jason.

Just heard about Tom Cruise and the Danny. Can he kick? (Cruise, that is...)
