From the Practice Field...

Jasno phoned to tell us who's present and who's missing from the afternoon practice:
Shawn Springs remains with his father; there's no change in Ron Springs' condition.
As for the offensive line, Casey Rabach, Todd Wade and Stephon Heyer (along with, obviously, Randy Thomas) were not on the field. The surprise, though, was that Pete Kendall was missing. He wasn't listed among the injuried players Monday and the Redskins said today they are resting him. But that's curious, given that they barely have enough players to man the line in practice. Joe Gibbs will be asked about that later and we'll update you.
Rabach and Wade continue to say they'll play Sunday against Arizona, but they'll practice Friday at the earliest. Jason Fabini expects to work at tackle this week with Rick DeMulling at guard. With so few offensive linemen available, defensive lineman Lorenzo Alexander will be playing reserve guard all week in practice and said he has been told to be prepared to play either offense or defense Sunday. Alexander worked with the offensive line during organized team activities. Marcus Washington was on the field in pads, but was not expected to participate in the full practice.
