Game Day Blog

Are you guys still in your jimmies, or are you in full game-face mode? Anyway, I'm here in the press box. Wanted to stop by a few tailgates, but I got to the stadium later than I would have liked. Marc Craig, who covers the Terps for us, was late getting to my house to leave for the stadium - he's writing a sidebar today - so I was running behind. I'll definitely try to swing by and say hi to some of you guys in a few weeks at the next home game.

Still waiting on the inactives. There is a chance Terry Glenn will not be able to play for Dallas, which would be huge for the Skins. He's been a much bigger problems for the Skins than TO has been. Redskins have a healthy D again; we'll see if that means anything. Brandon Lloyd stands to fall under the greatest pressure yet with Santana Moss out. We'll see how that goes, too. Hard to imagine he would be held without a catch again under these circumstances.

On the homefront, Lauren and I saw Borat Saturday. Very funny, but I think not as good as the show was. Works better in a shorter format, at least for me. Still very much seeing. Also, Chloe is getting more and more into "manball," which is great. Manball now means football, soccer and hockey, but hey, it's progress. We'll work on the finer distinctions later. Also, if you ask her now what happens when they play manball and the man kicks the ball for a score, she'll yell, "Gooooal." I'm pretty proud of that. I much confess.

Okay, I'll post the inactives when we get them. Hope everyone is warm and cozy at home. Definitely got some football weather here at FedEx.

Oh yeah, and word is Rachel Ray is in the parking lot doing a segment on tailgate food. Could I actually run into Jamie Foxx, Too Crazy Tom Cruise and RR all ar FedEx Field within two months? Oh, the celebrity of it all.
