Good News: Randy Thomas Doing Some Limited Work; Bad News: 8 Guys Not Practicing

Randy is back on the practice field for the first time since tearing his triceps in Week 2. He told me before practice that he would be doing mostly light work, nothing really engaging his upper body yet. "Mostly, just footwoork, stuff like that," he said. "It's mostly just getting used to getting out there again."

He is hopefully to be back in 2-3 weeks.

Two offensive line starters - G Pete Kendall and T Todd Wade - were not in pads. Neither were receivers James Thrash (high ankle sprain), Antwaan Randle El (clavicle) and Santana Moss (heel). Ladell Betts was not on the field at all, and we'll get an update on that post-practice.

DT Cornelius Griffin was not out there either; he suffered an ankle injury in Dallas. FS Sean Taylor is out at least a few more weeks in all likelihood and he was not on the field, either.

We'll see what Coach Joe has to say about the long list of injuries after practice. Most of these guys are day-to-day and expected to practice later in the week.
