A Nice Day in Dallas for Skins-Cowboys
It's a beautiful day here in Dallas -- a bit warm (in the 80s) but not too sticky. Should be the perfect setting for the last edition of this rivalry ever to be played at this antiquated stadium.
We'll post the inactives when we get them.
As for the game, in a nutshell, if the Skins can continue to win the turnover battle, attack the safeties downfield and find a way to tie up Witten, I think they can certainly make a game of this. It won't be easy, and the Cowboys have the kind of attack that can hang 30-plus on any defense, any week. Certainly the line was a bit steep, and some would say there is blowout potential. I smell a closer game, but we shall see.

There could always be one more Redskins/Cowboys game at Texas Stadium... :-)

We've considered, and dismissed, that possibility. There will be two more games with the 'girls this year, but we're playing both of them at Fed Ex.

Just got home. Those Jets unis are AWFUL. They aren't throwback; they're throw-up.

However TE, it would be nice to shut down texas stadium by beating the girls there.

Just like the first game this season vs. the Giants, the Danomen have spent the week before the game telling anyone that cares to listen - why they probably won't win.
We have heard things like, " be patient," "a work in progress," "never been there before", "stay close", "they are big favorites,", etc., etc., etc.
Jim Zorn is nothing - if not an excuse-maker.
Heck, I imagine they'll throw a party if they cover the spread! Never mind trying to be positive and win.
Oh yes, and after the lose - make sure to catch the Campbell Show, the one that he plays his recording that says "I've had to learn 7 different systems in 8 years!" Ohyah! Let's get the violins ready.
Let's also look forward to lil' Choo-Choo Portis telling everyone how much he'd like to run behind the Dallas front line!

But no one on the Skins will be crying "tht's my quarterback, sob, sob"
You won't see pictures of JC sitting on the field crying.

We'll look forward to it, but we won't be hearing it this week. This week will be about Romo choking again.
