Gregg Williams To Jacksonville Almost Done
League sources said the sides have agreed to terms but are still hasing out some minor details and the former boss of the Skins defense has not yet signed with the Jags.
From what I am hearing it'll be done by dinner time, however. That's an excellent defense there and a team on the cusp of the Super Bowl. Will be very interesting to see how aggressive Williams can be with some studs on the D Line there and an offense that can score more than 18 points. Looks like it could be a great fit. Williams will be the defensive coordinator there.
Dallas was very interested in Williams, too, as was Tenn. and at least one other team league sources said. Williams's agent met with Cowboys owner Jerry Jones during Super Bowl week. That would have made for some fun games to cover has Williams stayed in the NFC East.
