Groins, Groins And More Groins

Casey Rabach is listed as probable, though he did not practice all week. Coach Joe said he will be a game-time decision. Casey said he will work out hard Saturday and re-evaluate then. As an aside, I'd be remiss not to mention that Casey has perhaps the hairiest back I have ever seen. And I say that with love, 'cause I think it works for him, but it did kind of catch me off guard.

Todd Wade (groin) is probable as well, as are Pete Kendall, and Santana Moss.

Stephon Heyer (hamstring) missed practice all week and is questionable. It looks fairly obvious the team will have to promote a tackle off the practice squad for this game, because going with 3 tackles - and with two of them being banged up (Wade and Heyer), it's a pretty big game to take.

Marcus Washington (hamstring) did not practice as well and he too is questionable.

Also, Coach Joe said that he has not heard from Shawn Springs, understandably so given the situation with his father, and that he could hear from him at any point. It's open-ended as to if or when he returns, but should he want to play he will.
