Happy GameDay

Another great day for football. Doesn't get any better than this. A little weird walking into the stadium and not seeing my man Jared, the Tailgate King. He had a family issue and actually missed the game for the first time in a long time.

As for the Skins, looks like they will be fairly healthy for this one. We'll get the inactives in a half hour or so. Look for Carlos Rogers to lock up on Torry Holt, and for Fred Smoot to start opposite him. Shawn Springs will play but is likely to be used in nickel situations primarily, and also play some safety in the Cobra package. Springs is coming off a calf injury and the Skins want to keep him healthy for the long haul.

I wouldn't imagine Jason Taylor would start, but, like Springs, I figure he will get reps in certain situations. Stopping Steven Jackson is the priority, and Demetric Evans has been stout against the run. Taylor has missed a few weeks and will need time to get his legs fully under him.

Greg Blache has a knack for putting guys in positions to make plays, and these two dudes have a history of doing just that.

On the previous thread, HaikuMan paid a visit and I know he's too modest to repeat his artistry, so I'll share it:

Beware angry team:
Wounded Rams make poor patsies!
Skins' test: stay focused.

Zorn was wearing a burgundy-and-gold plaid shirt (with jeans and a black jacket) as he arrived for the game....'cause I know you're all nothing if not fashionable.
