Fletcher, Carter Will Start
The Redskins are scratching the usual suspects, along with DT Kedric Golston, who has an ankle injury (Anthony Montgomery will start in his place), and LB Marcus Washington (ankle), with H.B. Blades starting in his place.
TE Fred Davis, DE Erasmus James, DE Rob Jackson, OL Chad Rinehart, OL Jason Fabini also are scratches. Colt Brennan is the third QB.
The Giants are without WR Plaxico Burress, RB Ahmad Bradshaw, CB Sam Madison, K Lawrence Tynes, DE Jerome McDougle, DT Fred Robbins, T Adam Koets, and LB Jonathan Goff.

ESPN NFL Countdown just pissed me off. There is nothing similar between Burress carry a gun and shooting himself and what happen to the Reaper.

They have Carney as their most-of-the-time kicker... Tynes was hurt in preseason, and Carney's kicked well enough all year that he hasn't been able to regain the starting position.
It does say something that they can carry two kickers while we had to release Leigh Torrance.

Not sure the weather will help the Redskins that much if all week they've been practicing with four and five wide-receiver sets. When does Zorn script the plays? Before or after pre-game warm-ups?

Hall will start, but he won't be the sub for Springs that Channel 5 said. La Canfora sez: Smoot and Rogers had been the starters the last 5 weeks or so. It's more Hall over Smoot, with Springs playing the nickel, but the official inactive sheet from the team does list Hall in place of Springs.
And Jason Taylor will start at right end in place of Carter. Evans will remain the starter at left end.
