let's get this thing on!!!

Posted by: skinsfan8KaboveMSL | December 30, 2007 3:20 PM | Report abuse

jasno, how are the kikcing conditions back in raljohn?

kickers must be warming up any time now . . .

Posted by: skinsfan8KaboveMSL | December 30, 2007 3:21 PM | Report abuse

I don't know how they'll overcome the loss of Stanback.

Posted by: daggar | December 30, 2007 3:21 PM | Report abuse

Weather report: it's drizzling and the forecast calls for that to continue until midnight or so. Temps are in the high 30s. Very little wind.

Posted by: TheCindy | December 30, 2007 3:22 PM | Report abuse

With Stanback out, everyone might as well breathe easy. 'Skins in a cakewalk. :-)

Posted by: PDiddy | December 30, 2007 3:27 PM | Report abuse

Sportsnet just said the Jason Campbell is on the ACTIVE roster. Jason was supposed to do an interview with them but could not because he has been made active.

Posted by: Lisa_R | December 30, 2007 3:31 PM | Report abuse

hmmm. . .

just pondering the last post. . .

could mean they don't trust brunell/hollenbeck. . .

or maybe they're thinking they can get soups some snaps if the game is out of hand? not sure tha makes sense given what I've heard about the weather . . .

Posted by: skinsfan8KaboveMSL | December 30, 2007 3:39 PM | Report abuse

Sportsnet just said the Jason Campbell is on the ACTIVE roster. Jason was supposed to do an interview with them but could not because he has been made active.

Wow and hmmm?

I wonder if that has to do with any rules re post-season rosters? I.e., if he's inactive "X" games he can't be on the post-season roster?

Just a complete wild guess. Doesn't make any sense otherwise.

Posted by: SteveMG | December 30, 2007 3:42 PM | Report abuse

That report is incorrect. Campbell is inactive.

Posted by: TheCindy | December 30, 2007 3:50 PM | Report abuse

FYI - Terry Glenn is working running routes on the field with Romo so I guess he will be playing....rain or no rain.

Posted by: Lisa_R | December 30, 2007 3:51 PM | Report abuse

he must be healthy, not sure I'd have him out there with a slick track if there were any concerns . . .

Posted by: skinsfan8KaboveMSL | December 30, 2007 3:54 PM | Report abuse

Fox announcers in Saints game.

"Great Effort by David Patton".

unsure we ever heard that in DC :)

Posted by: spotter | December 30, 2007 3:57 PM | Report abuse

Oh and Ryan Seacrest is indeed in the house.

Posted by: TheCindy | December 30, 2007 4:02 PM | Report abuse

Get the door, it's Domino's! I'm ready! Pumped. Amped.

Time to start pacing around the living room...

Posted by: PDiddy | December 30, 2007 4:02 PM | Report abuse

Ryan Secrest said he is visiting with some friends in DC and that he is pulling for the Skins today. We are jinxed.

Posted by: Lisa_R | December 30, 2007 4:05 PM | Report abuse

Who is Ryan Seacrest?

Posted by: PDiddy | December 30, 2007 4:05 PM | Report abuse

Let's go Skins!!!

Posted by: pulldownclaw | December 30, 2007 4:09 PM | Report abuse

HAIL TO 'EM!

Posted by: goskinsgo | December 30, 2007 4:12 PM | Report abuse

He guys. Thanks for the positive feedback!

It was suppose to pretty much a positive guest blog. My point was basicaly we must move forward beyond tragedies in our lives. That's actually want makes us as a peopele stronger.

In my life, Skins are my biggest diversion. So, I really don't want my diversion to end. I'm sure many on the redskins feel the same way going through their tragedy.

Like I told people at church, everyone's thoughts and prayers have actually helped me stay strong for my family. It has worked and I am doing my best to keep everyone happy....

Game time....

Posted by: 4thFloor | December 30, 2007 4:13 PM | Report abuse

And the MN touchdown was reverse into a touchback :)

Posted by: spotter | December 30, 2007 4:34 PM | Report abuse

Get on the CP horse baby!

Posted by: chrislarry | December 30, 2007 4:35 PM | Report abuse

Also, the redskins should go with free kick kickoff I think :)

Posted by: spotter | December 30, 2007 4:36 PM | Report abuse

Fing Swiss Ham!

Posted by: chrislarry | December 30, 2007 4:36 PM | Report abuse

i hope the scoreboard operator at the stadium leaves it as Vikings 7-0.
the last thing our boys need is to get careless.

as i say this...swiss-ham kicks it outta bounds. effing brilliant!

Posted by: sosalekn | December 30, 2007 4:37 PM | Report abuse

BTW, is anyone worried that when CP does those flips he is going to land badly once?

Posted by: spotter | December 30, 2007 4:38 PM | Report abuse

Sean!!!!!

Posted by: farstriker | December 30, 2007 4:39 PM | Report abuse

Posted by: SMACK1 | December 30, 2007 4:39 PM | Report abuse

Should have typed "Shawn," but maybe a propitious slip

Posted by: farstriker | December 30, 2007 4:40 PM | Report abuse

I'm listening to the radio with the tv muted, and Sonny is also worried about Portis doing flips. Spotter, you're in good company.

Posted by: sherryz710 | December 30, 2007 4:40 PM | Report abuse

Cooley has a nose for the first down marker.

Posted by: spotter | December 30, 2007 4:41 PM | Report abuse

Lets go Broncos...
Lets go Redskins...
Lets go Portis...
Lets go Cooley...
Lets go WR's...

Posted by: alex35332 | December 30, 2007 4:41 PM | Report abuse

Posted by: PDiddy | December 30, 2007 4:42 PM | Report abuse

damn

Posted by: chrislarry | December 30, 2007 4:43 PM | Report abuse

Damn, I was worried about that with the rain like this.

Posted by: alex35332 | December 30, 2007 4:43 PM | Report abuse

I dont understand how the seahawks would let them be used in the state farm commercial like that.

And Arizona being the tough ones?

Posted by: spotter | December 30, 2007 4:43 PM | Report abuse

damn*4, next time we do that, have the cowboys in mind :)

Posted by: spotter | December 30, 2007 4:44 PM | Report abuse

Vikes 1st and 10 at the Denver 12

Posted by: Soups1 | December 30, 2007 4:44 PM | Report abuse

CP needs to have both hands on the ball . . .

that could have been huge . . .

Posted by: skinsfan8KaboveMSL | December 30, 2007 4:44 PM | Report abuse

that's the romo we love. . .

Posted by: skinsfan8KaboveMSL | December 30, 2007 4:45 PM | Report abuse

everyone should have this url

http://static.nfl.com/gamecenter?season=2007&week=REG17&game_id=29448

loaded in another tab in firefox (and if you are not using firefox, you should be, preferably in Ubuntu Like me).

Posted by: spotter | December 30, 2007 4:45 PM | Report abuse

This performance rivals Brett Favre's...

In "There's Something About Mary".

Posted by: SMACK1 | December 30, 2007 4:46 PM | Report abuse

Carter cant stop the run... Oh wait.

Posted by: alex35332 | December 30, 2007 4:46 PM | Report abuse

Safari has tabs and is more Mac friendly. But if you are using IE then you should just stop working with computers.

Posted by: alex35332 | December 30, 2007 4:48 PM | Report abuse

why the ARE jitter bug like that, he gives up yards. go straight.

Posted by: spotter | December 30, 2007 4:48 PM | Report abuse

Vikes have to settle for a field goal

Posted by: Soups1 | December 30, 2007 4:49 PM | Report abuse

Yes, but the laptops have only one button! and no eraser head mouse, two fatal flaws.

Posted by: spotter | December 30, 2007 4:49 PM | Report abuse

ah the delayed handoff. That works so so well against the NFC east.

Posted by: alex35332 | December 30, 2007 4:50 PM | Report abuse

Macs are beautiful. And shiny. And when I use one, I am allowed to work at Starbucks. :-)

After years of being forced to use Windows, I have seen the light with the Mac.

Now, about that football game... :-)

Posted by: PDiddy | December 30, 2007 4:53 PM | Report abuse

Cooley time.....

Posted by: Soups1 | December 30, 2007 4:53 PM | Report abuse

maybe i need to lose the rose-colored glasses, but doesn't this first quarter seem eerily similar to the 1st qtr of the earlier dallas game?

all i remember is the skins eating clock and piling up yards, just didn't score. . .

Posted by: skinsfan8KaboveMSL | December 30, 2007 4:54 PM | Report abuse

or Portis time; whatever......

Posted by: Soups1 | December 30, 2007 4:55 PM | Report abuse

damn. moss came to play too.

Posted by: spotter | December 30, 2007 4:55 PM | Report abuse

Wow! Way to go Santana!

Posted by: PDiddy | December 30, 2007 4:55 PM | Report abuse

That is not a catch, peeps.

Posted by: TheCindy | December 30, 2007 4:56 PM | Report abuse

Someone go steal Wades hankie! :-)

Posted by: PDiddy | December 30, 2007 4:56 PM | Report abuse

still a good try.

Posted by: spotter | December 30, 2007 4:56 PM | Report abuse

Skins are playing like they are possessed. More points are needed. With wet field and ball everyone is gonna be tired by late 3rd quarter

Posted by: sullivan.jm | December 30, 2007 4:57 PM | Report abuse

big play coming up here . . .

need to take the will out of the pokes . . .

Posted by: skinsfan8KaboveMSL | December 30, 2007 4:57 PM | Report abuse

Denver 1st and ten at the Viking 12

Posted by: Soups1 | December 30, 2007 4:58 PM | Report abuse

The skins should have a signal that a player (normally a WR) can signal when they make something that's called a big catch but they know it isnt, to tell the skins to hurry up.

the skins could then use this fake hurry up to try and get the opponents to throw the challenge flag badly. :)

Posted by: spotter | December 30, 2007 4:58 PM | Report abuse

Santana wanted it two inches to the left.

Posted by: SMACK1 | December 30, 2007 4:58 PM | Report abuse

TD Broncos!

Posted by: Soups1 | December 30, 2007 4:59 PM | Report abuse

MOSSS

Posted by: alex35332 | December 30, 2007 4:59 PM | Report abuse

Posted by: spotter | December 30, 2007 5:00 PM | Report abuse

LOL

Posted by: skinsfan8KaboveMSL | December 30, 2007 5:01 PM | Report abuse

Can the Skins keep this intensity?

Posted by: sullivan.jm | December 30, 2007 5:01 PM | Report abuse

Cooley...

Posted by: Soups1 | December 30, 2007 5:02 PM | Report abuse

how many yards do you lose for intental grounding and what would the sack have cost them?

Posted by: spotter | December 30, 2007 5:03 PM | Report abuse

re samsung commercial: do the jets have a WR that could even pull that off? :)

Posted by: spotter | December 30, 2007 5:04 PM | Report abuse

15 yards for intentional grounding; looked to me like he was about seven yards behind the line. so he should have taken the sack except it doesn't matter because they kicked the fg.

Posted by: TheCindy | December 30, 2007 5:05 PM | Report abuse

Man they have to keep this up. Shut them down and score again.

Posted by: jm220 | December 30, 2007 5:05 PM | Report abuse

Sack in this rain could result in a fumble. We got a field goal, not a bad deal.

Posted by: alex35332 | December 30, 2007 5:05 PM | Report abuse

spotter,

i think the play would have had the same result. it was 3rd down. sack would have been at the 28. turned out the penalty put the ball at the 28 also.
oh well, it's a moot point now that sweeeezam made the kick.

Posted by: sosalekn | December 30, 2007 5:05 PM | Report abuse

Did MN use peterson a a kick returner against the redskins?

Oh, and for those that are interested in the new terminator tv series, the pilot was leaked onto the Internet last summer. River :) kicks ass.

And damn, Suisham kicked it out of the end zone. Since when can he do that!

Posted by: spotter | December 30, 2007 5:06 PM | Report abuse

ROFLMAO. Romo got hit in the head trying to catch the ball.

Posted by: alex35332 | December 30, 2007 5:06 PM | Report abuse

Fox's production on this game is stellar. Really enjoying it, actually.

Posted by: PDiddy | December 30, 2007 5:08 PM | Report abuse

DDDDD!

Posted by: skinsfan8KaboveMSL | December 30, 2007 5:09 PM | Report abuse

Fox was doing okay except for the extreme close-up of Romo's bee-hind.

Posted by: TheCindy | December 30, 2007 5:09 PM | Report abuse

springs is so good at timing those hits.

Posted by: spotter | December 30, 2007 5:10 PM | Report abuse

Romo not playing well today. Not that it matters. Dude always finds a way to play well at the end, and the team always finds a way to transcend its QB.

Posted by: PDiddy | December 30, 2007 5:10 PM | Report abuse

Shape up Smoot.

Posted by: alex35332 | December 30, 2007 5:11 PM | Report abuse

Cindy, fox was going it for the girls.

Posted by: spotter | December 30, 2007 5:11 PM | Report abuse

Fantastic play by Smoot there.

Posted by: PDiddy | December 30, 2007 5:12 PM | Report abuse

I am sure that J Simpson loved that shot of sissy boys ass.

Posted by: alex35332 | December 30, 2007 5:13 PM | Report abuse

PDiddy, but will he play the whole game?

Posted by: spotter | December 30, 2007 5:13 PM | Report abuse

Yeah, Cindy, I'm not complaining about that!

Posted by: sherryz710 | December 30, 2007 5:13 PM | Report abuse

Ordinarily, I appreciate that. Boy, do I ever. But not with a playoff berth on the line.

Posted by: TheCindy | December 30, 2007 5:13 PM | Report abuse

They keep talking about the knee? His ass landed OB

Posted by: sullivan.jm | December 30, 2007 5:14 PM | Report abuse

what's the rule here?

pls tell me that elbow + foot=catch

Posted by: skinsfan8KaboveMSL | December 30, 2007 5:14 PM | Report abuse

Who was that who missed the sack was it Washington or our MacSub.

Posted by: alex35332 | December 30, 2007 5:14 PM | Report abuse

Cindy: Fox is doing it as a gift to the guys to let the BFs convince the GFs to let them hog the TV. (or other varying levels of commitment).

Posted by: spotter | December 30, 2007 5:15 PM | Report abuse

easy TD dropped by Vikes!

Posted by: Soups1 | December 30, 2007 5:15 PM | Report abuse

Posted by: sullivan.jm | December 30, 2007 5:16 PM | Report abuse

Pdiddy: no, you challenge twice correctly, you get a 3rd I think.

Posted by: spotter | December 30, 2007 5:17 PM | Report abuse

that hurd dude needs to wake up and smell the coffe. . .

that's a good way to wind up on IR with the way our secondary hits. . .

Posted by: skinsfan8KaboveMSL | December 30, 2007 5:17 PM | Report abuse

does, Jason Garrett look like Aikman? just less blond.

Posted by: spotter | December 30, 2007 5:18 PM | Report abuse

I realixe I am a true "homer" but dont all announcers like the boys better than the skins?

Posted by: sullivan.jm | December 30, 2007 5:18 PM | Report abuse

Posted by: spotter | December 30, 2007 5:21 PM | Report abuse

The Cowboys radio announcer (apparently a former player, but I don't know who he is [my brother just said he played for the skins and the boys]) did an interview on comcast and said that he wanted to skins to win.

FedEx is so big that you'll always have opponents fans there in large numbers. It's the way it is. Also, DC is a fairly transient and affluent town, so getting tickets isn't that hard. Plus, I think there's a large contingent of "contrarian" types who grew up Cowboys fans in DC just because it tweaks their 'Skins fans friends...

Posted by: PDiddy | December 30, 2007 5:31 PM | Report abuse

Gack, I'm nervous as a cat with kittens.

Posted by: farstriker | December 30, 2007 5:32 PM | Report abuse

are we that good or is Dallas not trying all that hard?

Posted by: Soups1 | December 30, 2007 5:33 PM | Report abuse

I think that the running stats say it all for this half.

Posted by: alex35332 | December 30, 2007 5:33 PM | Report abuse

no first down, but that was a great catch on cooley's part.

And thrash is so great.

Posted by: spotter | December 30, 2007 5:33 PM | Report abuse

Danny Smith is a great ST coach.

Posted by: alex35332 | December 30, 2007 5:34 PM | Report abuse

Hard to gauge this! Normally Dallas would've cashed in for six at the 19...

Posted by: Soups1 | December 30, 2007 5:34 PM | Report abuse

Let's get another safety this week.

Posted by: jm220 | December 30, 2007 5:34 PM | Report abuse

PDiddy, much like I'm a contrarian in NY these days (well Mets are favored over the Yankees, but boo to both), as not much to root for the Os these days (perhaps should care for the Nats, but moved to NY 10 years ago....)

Posted by: spotter | December 30, 2007 5:35 PM | Report abuse

What's up over here? You guys pop the bubbly yet?

Posted by: SMACK1 | December 30, 2007 5:36 PM | Report abuse

blog rule: No Bubbly shall be popped until vikings or skins game is over w/ apropriate results.

Barber is going to be all for the whole game at this rate, how many yards does he have, he needs 19 for his first 1K yd seeason

NFL.com confirms: two challenges per GAME.

Posted by: PDiddy | December 30, 2007 5:38 PM | Report abuse

I think Gibbs should keep that 21 on his cloths through his tenure.

Posted by: alex35332 | December 30, 2007 5:38 PM | Report abuse

hmm. Pdiddy brings the hammer. Need to look for my power saw.

Posted by: alex35332 | December 30, 2007 5:46 PM | Report abuse

daggone reviews. . .

spotter, no need to explain, when you left DC there was no baseball team and the O's were the only reason for it. . .

no real reason to root for them when even the hometown folks root for the sox . . .

I've adopted the rockies and it sure is nice to not have to be a contrarian for every sport (still can't leggo the wiz and caps). . .

Posted by: skinsfan8KaboveMSL | December 30, 2007 5:46 PM | Report abuse

Silly play call there.

Posted by: PDiddy | December 30, 2007 5:48 PM | Report abuse

Half time lead, at home, with Troy and Joe pissing the SJK out of me. Hail friends, hail.

Posted by: Dorf | December 30, 2007 5:49 PM | Report abuse

Ah well I will take a 10 point lead at the half.

Posted by: alex35332 | December 30, 2007 5:49 PM | Report abuse

We do NOT want B Johnson in the game. He has a BIG hard on for the Skins

Posted by: sullivan.jm | December 30, 2007 5:49 PM | Report abuse

F Brad Johnson! We owe him a few!! Trot him out the 2nd half!

Posted by: Soups1 | December 30, 2007 5:51 PM | Report abuse

Brad Johnson scares the bejeezus out of me in situations like this.

Posted by: PDiddy | December 30, 2007 5:51 PM | Report abuse

bah, don't give away those 3 points.

Posted by: spotter | December 30, 2007 5:51 PM | Report abuse

I guarantee you this: Brad Johnson might be wearing a 'Skins jersey after the game, but London Fletcher will be in it!!!

Posted by: Soups1 | December 30, 2007 5:52 PM | Report abuse

At issue here is whether the half can end on a Redskins (kicking team) penalty.

Posted by: PDiddy | December 30, 2007 5:52 PM | Report abuse

My gut is Johnson plays the second half. . .

not sure you can decline the penalty and get one more play. . .

Posted by: skinsfan8KaboveMSL | December 30, 2007 5:53 PM | Report abuse

There's your answer. Very esoteric rule there.

Posted by: PDiddy | December 30, 2007 5:53 PM | Report abuse

yay for the defense.

Posted by: spotter | December 30, 2007 5:54 PM | Report abuse

Really dumb move by Phillips at the end there.

Posted by: ga8085 | December 30, 2007 5:54 PM | Report abuse

OK one more half to go.

Posted by: jm220 | December 30, 2007 5:54 PM | Report abuse

smart move by wade, huh?

chris wilsom almost takes romo's head off. . .

Posted by: skinsfan8KaboveMSL | December 30, 2007 5:54 PM | Report abuse

so what do we do for halftime entertainment?

Posted by: spotter | December 30, 2007 5:54 PM | Report abuse

ga, I'm not sure. A Hail Mary play from the 35 is makeable. Plus, we ALL know the history of the Cowboys/'Skins rivalry and Hail Mary plays. I think Wade gets kudos for actually knowing the rule. The refs had to huddle and figure that one out.

Posted by: PDiddy | December 30, 2007 5:55 PM | Report abuse

spotter, why don't you lead us all in some Interpretive Blogging?

Posted by: PDiddy | December 30, 2007 5:56 PM | Report abuse

didn't we benefit from a similar circumstance at the end of the vikings game? we just kept the ball and ran out the clock, but I remember being a bit confused as to why we got the penalty yards w/o a re-kick . . .

I guess it makes sense . . .

Posted by: Soups1 | December 30, 2007 6:29 PM | Report abuse

This is how good the Skins could have been all year without the unsightly TOs, bad clock mgmt and conservative play calling that cost them games.

Posted by: learnedhand1 | December 30, 2007 6:30 PM | Report abuse

Seahawks are a weak team in a weak division. Their stars are shells of their former selves. That said, big players come up big in the playoffs, and the Seahawks have a squad that has been there and done it.

EVERYONE in the NFC is beatable. Every single team. This tournament is WIDE OPEN. Win and you have a legitimate shot. And as Jasno wrote, this 'Skins squad is a dangerous opponent for anyone in the NFC.

AFC is another story. Whoever wins the AFC (and by "whoever" I mean Indianapolis or New England) will win the Super Bowl.

after today, we will have played 6 games against the 5 other NFC playoff teams. the only team we would not have played against will be the Seahawks, who we have the privilege of visiting next weekend.

@ Dallas L 28-23
vs Dallas W 27-?

@ GB L 17-14

@ TB L 13-19

vs NYG L 24-17
@ NYG W 22-10

collective record of 2-4 (shoulda won all 4 of those losses).

biggest loss = 7 pts @ TB
biggest win = TODAY

I think we have a great shot at beating seattle next week.
this shows that we are competitive against ALL NFC teams. I think our boys can do some major damage if we stick together.

eh, the redskins shouldn't have won the first dallas game. They could have won it, but it wasn't a "should have", they didn't captilize on the majority of Dallas's mistakes.

As I mentioned, the NFC is wide open. We have every right to be optimistic about this playoff bracket.

Posted by: PDiddy | December 30, 2007 7:01 PM | Report abuse

wow! What a comeback by the Vikes!

Posted by: Soups1 | December 30, 2007 7:01 PM | Report abuse

Wade Phillips sort of reminds me of Elmer Fudd

Posted by: spotter | December 30, 2007 7:03 PM | Report abuse

Anyone notice that the technology for the yellow line has improved so much that it's present on almost all camera angles? Very cool.

Posted by: PDiddy | December 30, 2007 7:04 PM | Report abuse

I actually like Wade. He's an old timer who has paid his dues and finally has a shot at a title.

Posted by: PDiddy | December 30, 2007 7:06 PM | Report abuse

ok, safe to start looking ahead, no?

Let's say we go to seattle and get some revenge. . .

we get to play in Big d. . .

let's say GB beats whoever wins that thriller in TB . . .

we get a chance to get some more revenge. . .

now back to the regularly scheduled programming . . .

Posted by: skinsfan8KaboveMSL | December 30, 2007 7:06 PM | Report abuse

not taking a shot at him, just that's what it reminded me of.

Posted by: spotter | December 30, 2007 7:07 PM | Report abuse

Oh, and dallas is now back to 0 yards of total rushing. They were up to 1 :)

Posted by: spotter | December 30, 2007 7:07 PM | Report abuse

BTW I took down my Xmas tree today. You may (probably not) recall that I put it up at the beginning of our winning streak.

So now I have to find something for the playoffs. I still haven't decided if I should come back to RI for fear of jinxes.

Decisions decisons.

GO DEFENSE!!

sfskin, I think you and Lisa should huddle and come up with a list of superstitions for all the hamsters.

Posted by: PDiddy | December 30, 2007 7:10 PM | Report abuse

I'm sure this has been said in the last few weeks but to all the Santana haters out there . . . quote a 12 year old

"EAT IT you BAMFs!"

Posted by: sfskin | December 30, 2007 7:11 PM | Report abuse

that shot of JC bothered me, he seemed so uniterested in what he was being shown.

Posted by: spotter | December 30, 2007 7:11 PM | Report abuse

JC is looking at Sam Hollenbach write on a clipboard. For all we know, it's a recipe for prime rib.

Posted by: PDiddy | December 30, 2007 7:13 PM | Report abuse

Diddy - that would be a very looooongg list.

I think Lisa and I have a novel length list of superstitions.

Plus coming up with a list is probably bad luck. . . . .

: )

Posted by: sfskin | December 30, 2007 7:13 PM | Report abuse

Yeah that shot at JC was not called for. How many of you are looking forward to the Lisa/RB date? lol

Posted by: jm220 | December 30, 2007 7:14 PM | Report abuse

PDiddy: and missing out on a good recipe for prime rib isn't a horrible offense?

Posted by: spotter | December 30, 2007 7:14 PM | Report abuse

Come on don't people get that Toddball is working because TC has been in this offense for 7 years? That going to another team just ain't gonna be the same?

What a TODDTASTIC game!

Posted by: sfskin | December 30, 2007 7:15 PM | Report abuse

jm, perhaps you should chaperone?

Posted by: PDiddy | December 30, 2007 7:15 PM | Report abuse

Posted by: skinsfan8KaboveMSL | December 30, 2007 7:26 PM | Report abuse

so is childress going ot be toast after this?

seems like a pretty big collapse. . .

Posted by: skinsfan8KaboveMSL | December 30, 2007 7:27 PM | Report abuse

so giants @ TB on sunday 1pm usually should mean the skins will play saturday in the night game (8pm?)

if i recall correctly, the conference that gets the late game saturday gets the early game sunday, which would give us the late game. however, i think it's quite unfair that the giants get 8 days between games. not cool.

Posted by: student1234 | December 30, 2007 7:28 PM | Report abuse

they announced, skins have afternoon game on sat. sad for me, but oh well.

Posted by: spotter | December 30, 2007 7:39 PM | Report abuse

"P:
BJ brought out his old skins jersey to show the fans when he was in DC to open the season w/ the vikes last year, totally unnecessary and classless . . .

Posted by: skinsfan8KaboveMSL | December 30, 2007 06:52 PM"

That's alright. We showed BJ "what time it is" tonight. He's wiping his tears with that jersey wishing he was still in DC.

"I am so proud of this team. So happy they did it for Sean.

Posted by: jm220 | December 30, 2007 07:21 PM"

Me, too. They showed what they are really made of tonight against Dallas. It's like they were saying, "Dallas Cowgirls ... you are not TAKING anything from us!"

They did it WITH Sean. He was there in every one of our guys and coaches...even today. Especially today.

Can't think of a team in the current me-first era of professional sports that is more admirable than this one. What an amazing story. What a perfect coach!

Forgot to mention how perfect the final margin of victory is. Yes, Sean was there and will live on in the "21" point win forever!

HTTR!

Impressive win both offensively and defensively.

Anyone know why NYGiants played Sat but get to wait until Sun for their playoff game, While we played Sunday and get scheduled to go all the way out there to play on Saturday?

For all of you who were whining about Gibbs and everything else 4 weeks ago, take a look at the link below. Skins had the second most difficult schedule in the NFL.
