Thank god for rum, I am now no longer worried about the game

This game could be trouble for the Skins. With our banged up secondary, stopping Clev. from scoring is going to be a tall order. So a lot of pressure on JC and the offense to put up some points on the board. I think anything less than 21 won't be enough. Hope I'm wrong.

Redskins offesne has yet this year to put it all together and really put up a big number on somebody. Today would be a really really really great day to make a step in that direction. I want to see Suisham kick 5 XP and 1 FG. Here's hoping.
Loving the Dallas implosion. Gints in another cake walk, with another west coast team having to play them at gints stadium at 1:00 pm. PRetty vigorous post Super Bowl schedule... NOT. So far anyway... their tough row to hoe is coming.

question to those watching Miami run from their own endzone? Why run from your 2 with no FB???

Just checked out the commentary by Sports writers on Cleveland's newsppaper (Plain Dealer) plus their blog. First news, their blog is pretty much non-existent. I was hoping to glean some info about the Browns since I don't know jack about them other than what I saw last Mon. night (that was fun!!!)
Wasn't able to get much info other than the fact that most people in Cleveland aren't taking the Skins too seriously. Hope the same is true for the Browns, although I doubt it.

Heading to the local here in Kaneohe soon to catch the game. Local CBS has 3 choices to broadcast here as part of their late game pkg this Week: Indy at GB, Browns at Redskins, and.... wait for it.... Raiders at Jets.
We get the Raiders at Jets. I kid you not.

OK, found the answer to my own question (NFL.com):
Browns defense:
Points: 18.4 (8th)
Yards: 325 (17th)
Pass yds: 188 (11th)
Rush yds: 137 (25th)
(I especially like the last stat; big day for CP???!!!)
Browns offense:
Points: 16.2 (26th)
Yards: 259.4 (28th)
Pass yds: 161 (26th)
Rush yds: 98.4 (24th)
And for a comparison,
Redskins offense
Points: 21 (19th)
Yards: 354 (7th)
Pass yds: 201.7 (18th)
Rush yds: 152.3 (3rd) (NICE STAT!)
Redskins defense:
Points: 19.5 (10th)
Yards: 285.8 (8th)
Pass yds: 202 (13th)
Rush yds: 83.8 (6th) (STOUT AGAINST THE RUN!)

Going into the 4th Q, TO still only has 1 catch for 19 yards.
I guess after halftime, he decided to take the rest of the day off.

Damn we can't use rob jackson OR erasmus James???? Seems like with our pass rush and taylor not %100 one of those dudes would suit up.....
Anyone wish we had the 7th rd pick next year nstead of James.....i do...

One thing you can see in those stats is with regard to our offense, the big gap in rankings between yards (7th) and points scored (19th). Means we've got to convert TDs on those long drives.

Clarry, I hear you. Lack of a pass rush is what's killing us. Gonna need one today to prevent Browns from passing all over us.

Brad Johnson has a 36.6 QB rating for the Gurlz today. Go Brad!
Their punter has a 42.0 yd/kick gross on 5 punts, but 2 touchbacks.
