Samuels Will Start

Starting left tackle Chris Samuels has been getting treatment and will start.

Corner Shawn Springs (calf), RB Ladell Betts (knee), De Jason Taylor (calf), WR Malcolm Kelly (knee) are out. (Brief aside: Look for Carlos Rogers to line up on Santonio Holmes, Fred Smoot on Nate Washington with a lot of Leigh Torrence on Hines Ward when Ward is in the slot).

OL Chad Rinehart, OL Jason Fabini, QB Colt Brennan, and DE Rob Jackson are scratches.

The Steelers' scratches are QB Dennis Dixon, CB Bryant McFadden, S Ryan Clark, LB Bruce Davis, LB Keyaron Fox, OL Tony Hills, OL Marvel Smith and DE Orpheus Roye.

Great news on Samuels!! Let's go Skins, show those stillers that the NFC East owns them!

Sweet, lets just hope everyone makes it through the game just fine and we come away with a W. It's clear to me how important everyone thinks this game as Samuels and Moss will play. 7-2 and tops for the wild card is much different from 6-3 and in the hunt.

LISTEN UP GUYS!!! I HEAR ALL THIS TALK ABOUT HOW PHYSICAL THE STEELERS ARE, AND YES I GIVE THEM THAT. BUT WHAT PEOPLE DONT KNOW OR REALIZE IS HOW PHYSICAL WE ARE...WELL THEY WILL KNOW BY THE END OF THE NIGHT..WE WILL PUSH THE STEELERS AROUND ON THE FOOTBALL FIELD..RUN DOWN THE THROATS AND DO AS WE WILL AND THE DEFENSE WILL BE STRONG AND HIT THEM IN THE MOUTH..THERE'S A REASON WHY THE STEELERS STRUGGLE WITH NFC EAST TEAMS AND ITS B/C WE ARE PHYSICAL..JUST NOTICE HOW WE PLAY EACH OTHER..WITH THAT SAID, I STILL HATE THE NYG, COWGIRLS AND EAGLES..BUT TO STAY ON SUBJECT..I HONESTLY THINK WE'RE GONNA DOMINATE, IN A PHYSICAL, NASTY WAY!!!!! PLAY FOR SEAN TAYLOR!!! REDSKINS, SUPERBOWL CHAMPS! ps..im diggin the burgundy on burgundy...sean taylor would have loved to wear those

Consider this. Someone showed that Boise State has an advantage at home when their Blue Unis match their blue turf and they tend to blend in. Seriously.

A football is almost kinda sorta burgundyish--couldn't hurt with the faking such as.

Torrence playing man on Ward in the slot???? Mismatch of epic proportions, anyone?!?!?

Hope to god they fix the matchup pre-snap...like in a previous game, when Smoot (or was it Rogers) ran over to a linebacker (Rocky Mac I think) covering a receiver and swapped.

Torrence covering Hines: The thinking must be tat Ward does not have the speed to run away from Torrence. But you're right, it's a scary match-up.

Come ON, we need to get the Offense moving. I realize the Steelers are one of the best Defense teams in the game, but we could SO easily be up big right now if the offense was moving the ball just a little better.

Keeping them to a FG is probably the best we could have hoped for. Our Offense needs to take control.
