The good knews if Kelly knee must have held up. If so I think he will be active next week. CP roll 100 on Dallas.

Any news on who is starting at RB? Since Portis is "limited"...what does that even mean?

Marcus Washington is in. That will help against Barber. Plus lots of pass rushing threats with Barber, Taylor, and Carter.

Coach Z,
If you are not going to play Kelly, place him on IR. The guy needs to play, you can't tell me that he does not know 2-3 plays that he can contribute. I think that kelly and thomas are going to use each other to get better, but they both need to be in the game.

correction: Washington, Taylor, and Carter.

The Cowpies are just lucky we're not turning Erasmus James loose on them! (Shhhh!!! Our secret weapon!)

Wow...so Springs "strained calf" is actually a "torn calf". Sounds a bit higher on the ouchie/boo-boo scale.
Good to see Marcus is active.
Still expecting havoc wreakage from #55 and mayhem lustage from Dirty Thirty.
That's all I got...enjoy the game.

Actually, a second-degree sprain is, technically, a tear. Same with Portis....

Thanks Cindy!
If the skins lose tonight, I may have to 2nd degree sprain my Shawn Springs jersey.

pennstate1 (and the rest of you), Zorn said last night on the Jim Zorn Show that Malcolm is just not "game ready" - nothing to do with injury just has not learned the plays, etc. and that he hopes he will see action "down the road." He said Devin Thomas is well ahead of Malcolm in learning the plays.

Cards just won IN SEATTLE......not looking ahead or anything but......

Thanks for the update Lisa_R......................I guess down the road is coach speak for "next year"

I wonder if that means when Kelly gets in a game we'll have to wait forever for them to throw him a ball like Thomas

Malcolm does have 1 catch this year.....

You mean to tell me Kelly can't just run a 9 route or something? Just tell him what he should do on a play and get him in the game for atleast a couple of plays. By the time he's "game ready" it will be the end of the season. And Springs just doesn't seem like he has the desire to be out there.

There has never been an 11-10 game in NFL history! What a bizarro day!
Posted by: CindyBoren | November 16, 2008 7:20 PM | Report abuse
they need to throw that bootleg to Thomas that they did in the Arizona game. Dallas will never see it coming
Posted by: skinztattoo89 | November 16, 2008 7:20 PM | Report abuse
The coaches can partially be to blame for Kelly not being "game-ready". Why has the receivers coach not been working with him on getting the playbook down? I know it's hard to learn a pro offense with no reps but c'mon now, there are only so many routes a receiver can run. Get him out there Zorn and let him make a play for you.
