Week 17 Inactives
The Redskins are scratching DE Rob Jackson, LB Tyson Smith, OL D'Anthony Batiste, DT Ryan Boschetti, G Will Montgomery, T Devin Clark and WR Malcolm Kelly. (In hindsight they easily could have put this kid on IR at midseason.) Colt Brennan is the third QB.
As for the 49ers' inactives, well, here goes:
CB Marcus Hudson, CB Reggie Smith, RB Thomas Clayton, LB Ahmad Brooks, C Cody Wallace, T/G Adam Snyder, TE Sean Ryan. Jamie Martin is the third QB.

He's definitely gifted. How does he do so well in the hindsight department. Wasn't the the first one to point out, with hindsight, that the Jason Taylor trade didn't work out very well. That is, after he'd pointed out with foresight that it was a good trade.

Kind of bittersweet that either PHL or DAL will get the last wild card. Had it not been for Pete Kendall's mistake history might be different. I will hate having to come into work tomorrow, given that I will have nothing to gloat about.

This game is quite a tragedy, given that both franchises were once well-respected and competitive. If it were only 20 years ago this game would probably mean something. It is amazing to see how far SF has fallen since I was a kid. I remember when they were dominating Super Bowls.

Wow, the Skins actually will be on defense first. Good start.

The gameday inactive list didn't get sent out via text like it normally does. Guess when you're out of the playoffs, the Post doesn't feel it as pertinent to keep readers updated on a meaningless game.
Another beef I have with those texts is that the info they send out is so lame sometimes. I bet the vast majority of those on the Post text list don't want to receive the halftime score and final score updated on their text. The reason being the vast majority of fans are WATCHING the game.
Thanks, but no thanks.

so what's the deal peoples? My local sports bar is closed for some reason so I'm stuck watching DAL\PHI.
Talk about a last kick in the nads for this awful, painful season. Winner of this game goes to the playoffs? Ugh.
Is it still 7-0 49ers?

Barno,
You're mad when they don't send it. You're mad when they do send it. It's week 17. Why don't you do yourself a favor and take your name off the list?

oh and a quick question, WHO AM I SUPPOSED TO CHEER FOR!?!
Pop star Tony Romo and Jerrah Jones' Cowgirls so ESPN can gobble them up? The one good thing is that it'll be funny to see 'em fall on their face again and leave the playoffs without a win
OR
Mr. "We're better than the Redskins, who beat us both times we played this year" Donovan McNabb?

SF 7, Was 0

Truth--
Why don't you click on NFL.com? They have a play-by-play description.
Lot of folks hoping they break away early for the Dallas game.
And, yeah, still 7-0, but the 'Skins are threatening to make it 7-7. Or, more likely, 7-3.

My distain for the Cowboys runs very, very deep, so I am pulling for the Eagles - especially since Jerry Jones guaranteed that Dallas would make the playoffs. I am just still mad that both Tampa Bay and Chicago managed to lose to the Raiders and the Texans!

If the extent to your following the team on Sundays is only through halftime and final score updates, guess you're not much of a fan.
The Redskins fans I know that don't live in the D.C. area find bars that have the NFL ticket, or listen to the games on XM radio.
Next year I hope they give real "Insider" info on the games, instead of simply halftime and final scores to people who already know the scores.
