Starting tackle Todd Wade is inactrive - he's had knee problems and struggled lately - so rookie Stephon Heyer starts.

WR Jimmy Farris, LB Randall Godfrey, CB David Macklin, TE Brian Kozlowski, and DT Ryan Boschetti are scratched.
WR James Thrash (high ankle sprain) has yet to return to practice but could be back in 10 days for the next game, at New York.

Ran into my man Jared, The Tailgate King, on the way, and he like everyone else is trying to get back into the regular swing on things. Said he would be putting his hog nose back on and getting all geared up. It is clear the homemade shirts and hats in the crowd that Sean is anything but forgotten - hearing via email from fans that Sean Taylor jerseys are pretty much sold-out again - but there seemed to be more of a football vibe in the parking lot tonight, rather than a grieving feeling.

Was out on the field for a few minutes before the game. I can tell you this - the grass is hard as a rock, it's freezing out there and it's a little slick, too.

Heard that John Riggins will be talking before the game. His run from the Super Bowl was voted the franchise's all-time best play, and he'll be honored before kickoff.
