Incognito Fined $35K; More on the TV Deal
Richie Incognito, according to an ESPN report has been fined $35,000 by the NFL for his actions in the Rams-Skins game last week.
And Jason La Canfora says of the perfect storm that could complicate Sunday's broadcast:
There is a possibility that part of Redskins' game against Cleveland Sunday may not be broadcast in the Washington D.C. market based on rarely-triggered rules in the contractual agreements between the NFL and its television partners. WUSA-9 is obligated to air the 1 p.m. game between Baltimore and Miami in its duration, or at least until "the outcome appears certain," which could potentially conflict with the Redskins' kickoff at 4:15 at FedEx Field.

Incognito. He's on the Rams, right? Didn't the Skins play them recently? What did he do again?
[short term memory deficit and such]

Those two lousy teams are going to run the ball so much, there'll be time for Channel 9 to show an old I Love Lucy in between games. Let's try not to set off a panic.

Check again, 4-12. It appears that T-E let his son make his picks last week, as I thought we agreed he wouldn't do.
That's the only explanation I can think of anyway.

On the *slight* chance that you're not being sarcastic: as far as I could see, he was mouthing off to the ref, his teammates were trying to pull him back, Steven Jackson got in his face (probably to try to shut him up), Jackson got moved, and Incognito kept jawing, and then finally the Ref tossed a red flag out of his pocket.
it was all very futbol-esque.

I've got Direct TV and i'm in the ATL, so it won't effect me i'm sure but for everyone back in my old stompin grounds that's goofy why can't the NFL let the B'MORE market see the game if it runs over and then switch them to the skins game at the comclusion, or is that possible?

Why isnt there any explanation? Baltimore has its own TV market. Why is WUSA-9 required to play the end of the Ravens game? It shouldnt be treated any differently than if it were a Dolphins-Jets game.

Incognito.
Received a fine of, $25.000.00 for mouthing off to the ref.
$5,000 for a flagrant face mask, that was not caught on the field of play.(Or OverLooked)
$5,000 for a chop block, that again not called on the field of play.(Or overlooked)

This sucks, the B-more CBS affiliate should carry but why should DC suffer. Who the hell wants to see the Ravens?
