Jason Campbell Update

Howdy and a happy day to all of you! Paul Tenorio is at Redskins Park and just saw the "other" QB...
Jason Campbell was one of very few Redskins that came in for treatment today; he took time to talk about his recovery, the team's recent success and the timetable for his return.
On how he's doing in recovery process:
"I'm doing pretty good, you know, walking and all, but we have yet to do anything on the field and to try to do any kind of running, so it's still hard to say. The hardest part is sitting back watching all this. We're having a lot of fun right now as a team, we're winning, and you feel like you're an outsider looking in, watching. But I'm just proud for our team. We've been through so much this year and for us to be 8-7 with a chance to go to the playoffs is a huge deal."
On steps going forward this week:
"This week probably first thing we'll try to start running on the treadmill. Try to do some different other things, different movements. The one thing you want to do before you do any of that is get the swelling out and once you accomplish that, then you try to move on to the next step. It's still a work in progress."
On Santana and Clinton back healthy and offense finding success:
"That's the key. We've got everybody back healthy, all our key players are healthy, Santana, Randle El and Clinton are back healthy. And then, at the same time, we're running the ball good now, so we're able to keep people off-balance because we're moving the ball in two different phases. And when you can run the ball successfully, play action really opens it up. So it's doing an outstanding job of that. And our defense is getting turnovers, we're not turning it over ... "
To fight through to this point:
"To be in the spot we're in is a blessing. To be 8-7 right now with all the things we've been through this season, during that stretch during the...Buffalo game and the Chicago game, it was a hard week because of what happened to Sean. And I think guys, we're finally getting back to normal and you can tell we're really dedicating it and playing hard. But during that time it was a really hard span."
On if he's still looking to return for the playoffs (if they make it):
"The only thing I've got to do is just take it day-to-day and just see what happens, see how we can improve it and right now we're winning so that's the key."
