I hope there are no injuries on OL.

Marcus Mason, first inactive. Not much surprise their.

Posted by: talent_evaluator | September 13, 2009 2:55 PM | Report abuse

Yay, Marko is active.

Posted by: will_ga | September 13, 2009 2:55 PM | Report abuse

Not good for Rinehart is Williams is active over him.

Go Mitchell!!

Posted by: Curzon417 | September 13, 2009 2:56 PM | Report abuse

Marko active and I like it

Derek Anderson may be starting in Cleveland next week.Quinn with the bad int.

Posted by: will_ga | September 13, 2009 2:57 PM | Report abuse

Who knows why they chose BMW over Rinehart. One idea may be to have a third tackle in there near the goaline to help Betts get a half an inch closer before he fumbles it.

Posted by: JesusFreakKaren | September 13, 2009 3:00 PM | Report abuse

Rinehart is a Guard, Williams is a Tackle.

Will Montgomery is the active B/U at C/G; BMW would come in at Tackle. I imagine that Montgomery is active ahead of Rinehart due to his versatility (can play center).

Thanks Kaneohe, got mixed up on the OL guys. Makes sense now.

Posted by: Curzon417 | September 13, 2009 3:05 PM | Report abuse

Okay, just realized that I'm playing the guy who has Santana in my work FF league, so I need CP to score all the TDs today!

Posted by: suzannepdc | September 13, 2009 3:06 PM | Report abuse

Elam shanks extra point for Atlanta. Maybe we should be grateful for Suisham after all.

Lanky Livingston baby!!!!!!!!

Posted by: rickyroge | September 13, 2009 3:08 PM | Report abuse

Dude, Eagles are legit :/ I'm so nervous... come on Skins, DON'T let us down!!!!!

Posted by: rachel216 | September 13, 2009 3:11 PM | Report abuse

Mcnabb down. Looks to be in pain. They're killing the Panthers. Shame for him to get hurt in a blowout.

Posted by: will_ga | September 13, 2009 3:12 PM | Report abuse

Donovan McNabb has to be the dumbest qb in the NFL. What a maroon.

Posted by: BMACattack | September 13, 2009 3:12 PM | Report abuse

Looks like McCrybaby got hurt.

Posted by: Curzon417 | September 13, 2009 3:12 PM | Report abuse

McNabb scores and takes wicked hit on his back. He's gotta be out on that.

Posted by: dcsween | September 13, 2009 3:12 PM | Report abuse

McNabb hurt already. Fox reporting he hurt his back.

Posted by: jm220 | September 13, 2009 3:12 PM | Report abuse

Eagles 37, Panthers 10.. God I really hope this means the Panthers STINK... Delhomme with 3 picks

Posted by: rachel216 | September 13, 2009 3:12 PM | Report abuse

Anybody know what's going on in Denver w/Cincinnati? Just need Cincy to get TD and the point.

Posted by: dcsween | September 13, 2009 3:14 PM | Report abuse

McNabb got up he's fine. But what an idiot, you're up by thirty, you're over thirty, throw the ball away dude.

Posted by: BMACattack | September 13, 2009 3:14 PM | Report abuse

I wish we could be up 38-10... that would be sooooo good, but our game will most likely be close and very nervewracking. :(

Posted by: rachel216 | September 13, 2009 3:14 PM | Report abuse

aaaah man i love opening sunday!!!

got a half bushel of crabs shipped out to seattle im just about to break out...fridge full of beer...the game in HD on the ticket...feels like home!!!

i think this is a winable game...if nothing else we should be at least a litle more competitive on both sides of the ball...if only the o line can step up...

Posted by: deadskin | September 13, 2009 3:14 PM | Report abuse

Brunell plays for the Saints. Wonder if he and Leigh are roommates when they go on the road?

Posted by: vegasskinsfan | September 13, 2009 3:15 PM | Report abuse

Jets look beast.....

I am so sick i am already looking at playoff angels.....

Posted by: chrislarry | September 13, 2009 3:16 PM | Report abuse

Correction, Jake Delhomme is the dumbest qb in the nfl.

Posted by: BMACattack | September 13, 2009 3:16 PM | Report abuse

Any predictions for our game?? I say AND HOPE 24-20 'Skins.

Posted by: rachel216 | September 13, 2009 3:17 PM | Report abuse

Dumb ass Leftwich. Blew an easy TD to end the half and now throws it up for grabs.

Penalty saved his a$$.

Posted by: Curzon417 | September 13, 2009 3:19 PM | Report abuse

I just hope we look like a professional offense...

BTW...Byron Leftwich is no good. He's a good backup at best. He's very inaccurate.

Posted by: rickyroge | September 13, 2009 3:21 PM | Report abuse

Eagles defense hasn't missed a beat..Campbell better have some protection, or itsa LONGGGG season..

Posted by: frak | September 13, 2009 3:22 PM | Report abuse

wow, Clayton just got sandwiched and made the catch and stayed on his feet.

Posted by: Curzon417 | September 13, 2009 3:22 PM | Report abuse

Leftwich's achilles heel is the deep ball. He throws intermediate balls on a rope but his deep throws have better hang time than many punters.

Posted by: dcsween | September 13, 2009 3:23 PM | Report abuse

CL look at who the Jets are playing. Any one can look beast againt them.

JM220 - Texans are "supposed" to be playoff contenders this year...

Posted by: suzannepdc | September 13, 2009 3:30 PM | Report abuse

Wouldn't put too much stock in the Eagles smashing on the Panthers.

Delhomme does have 3 picks... the same Delhomme who threw FIVE last year agasint the Cardinals.

Posted by: RedDMV | September 13, 2009 3:30 PM | Report abuse

Posted by: jm220 | September 13, 2009 3:31 PM | Report abuse

How 'bout this stat:

Delhomme 9 picks in last 51 pass attempts. That does not include fumbles.

Posted by: Curzon417 | September 13, 2009 3:31 PM | Report abuse

Brady Quinn...wow. Just wow.

Posted by: SkinsfaninKaneohe | September 13, 2009 3:32 PM | Report abuse

M. MITCHELL and B.WESTBROOK active and A. MONTGOMERY and C. RINEHART not, my two misses on the inactive list. 6 out of 8, not bad. Not perfect, but not bad.

Let's see MITCHELL take home the gold today. How about three catches for 86 yards and 1 touch. My man. ORAKPO with four tackles, a sack, and two passes defensed, and JARMON with a sack and a hurry with two tackles. Let's go rookies.

Special teams and the 0-line make or break us today.

Makes sense to have Mitchell up given the secondary issues the giants are having. Also, I'm glad to see BMW up. I think he'll help on short yardage and goal line plays.

Patrick Clayton 80 yard TD from Romo. UGHHHHHHHHHHHH

Posted by: rachel216 | September 13, 2009 3:41 PM | Report abuse

Rache..
Skins win the first half.. Gints win the second half..
Unfortunately the OLine will most likely wear down to the backups and we'll see "3 and outs" in the 3rd and 4th Qtr..
Cause and effect...the DLine is cooked by the 4th Qtr and Jacobs chews up yardage..

But this could all change if Kelly is the real deal this year.. And not a preseason star. If so, no more..doubling Moss, stacking Portis and blocking down Cooley while JC double pumps in frustration... This time JC may have a legit 2nd threat to open the field?? We'll know in 1 hour..

Brady Quinn: Gets pressure up the middle and from the right, gets flushed left, switches ball to left hand, escapes left, wants to throw, stops and switches ball back to right hand, flings the ball backwards 5 yards as he tries to cock for the throw, lunges at ball on the ground and gets it taken away by bigger stronger Vikings in the pile.

Wow.

SNAGM, how is that a prediction?

Posted by: Curzon417 | September 13, 2009 3:43 PM | Report abuse

By my count, the Skins have just 7 OL active, one of which is BMW. Last year, they played the Ravens and had 3 OL go down with injuries.

And tampa -- you are crushing me in FF.

Posted by: rachel216 | September 13, 2009 3:48 PM

That's what happens to teams that don't score much. Too much drama. Hopefully, this year's Skins will put points on the board early and often, and put important games out of reach like Philly is doing today.

Posted by: Alan4 | September 13, 2009 3:53 PM | Report abuse

When your team has Kyle Orton at QB, 6 points is considered a highly productive day.

Posted by: MrRedskin21 | September 13, 2009 3:55 PM | Report abuse

What does it say about NO that they are letting DET score 27 points? NO will win in the end, although that game is moving at a glacial pace. I can't believe that that game is still in the 3rd quarter. Whatever the case I wonder if DET can make it respectable.

Posted by: jiacinto | September 13, 2009 3:56 PM | Report abuse

Alan- Absolutely... I also hope we are out to a comfy lead but something tells me that won't happen. I just don't want to have a heart attack...

Is Aikman doing our game??

Posted by: rachel216 | September 13, 2009 4:10 PM | Report abuse

It was a 10 yard out pattern to the left...guy jumps the route, tips it WAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY into the air, 3 Bengals litter the field trying to change direction, Stokely catches it in full stride and gallops 70+ yards to the house....but brilliantly takes a right turn at the one yard line and eats 6 more seconds of clock before crossing the line for the winning TD.

Posted by: SkinsfaninKaneohe | September 13, 2009 4:10 PM | Report abuse

The good news is that Cadillac Williams and Derrick Ward combined for 25 carries for 159 yards and 2 TDs BEFORE the game got out of hand... I'd say the Dallas run defense is suspect.
