Tough to see that Brandon isn't going to be able to make his return to FedEx, the scene of so many great receptions. You know, from fingertip to thumb knuckle he's the most talented receiver Al Saunders ever saw.

I wonder how B Lloyd's music/rap career is going. Besides that one song on the Skins website a few years back, I haven't heard anything from him in awhile.

Wish today could be like some of the fun football movies, where the team just rallies from within themselves, in spite of the coaching, in spite of all the odds. Don't care if it's last-second field goal or trickery or something one-of-a-kind. We need a victory. And then we need to celebrate a little bit, and then get back to work -- not say, ah, see, the gods/fates/refs are finally on our side.
This season has been its own version of "Marat/Sade," so why not some "Leatherheads" or "Longest Yard" or "Bad News Bears"?
Hail Hogs!

Good question...if the Skins continue to move the ball and score points in the next several weeks, it says to me that we may have some young talent on offense after all, and perhaps a total overhaul may not be necessary, just some major upgrades.

he was, but on the other side of the field, the reason you thought it was smoot was cause landry bit so badly on the underneath route that by the time Marshall caught the ball LL wasn't even on the screen anymore, Smoot was chasing from the opposite side to try and catch him and cover up the idiotic play of Landry.

I am truly sorry for the fans of the Washington Redskins; Having ownership that treats a NFL-chartered franchise like a fantasy football roster is just demoralizing, as the sum of the parts never seem to equal the whole of the team.
As a Nationals fan, I can understand the fans' pain. While the Nationals' problem stemmed from both neglect, and an attempt to gut the franchise & devalue it for contraction, the Redskins suffer from the over-involvement from the ownership trying to micro-manage the team.
By constantly throwing large sums of money after big names, regardless of how they fit in the overall structure, the Redskins have become the NFL version of the late 1960's/early 1970's Yankees under CBS/Steinbrenner, with even less success.
Until the owner steps away from direct involvement with the team, it will only be more of the same on the field.
